Kuhn Rikon Epicurean Garlic Press

at last, a product that surpasses my expectations. I splurged for this after reading a recommendation in Cooks Illustrated. In the past 50 years I've been cooking, I've wasted so much money on garlic shredders/mincers etc. that don't' work or so messy to clean they've not worth the effort. But this really does work and is a snap to use and clean. Just go for it and buy it--in the long run you will save money.

Kuhn Rikon La Patisserie Cookie Press and Decorating Set

I actually used this for the first time last night and was very disappointed. The barrel is very small, as were the cookies. I make a spritz cookie and then ice 2 together with chocolate icing like a sandwich and even the largest disc didn't make the cookies big enough. I ended up getting a disc from an old press, but that didn't work all that great, either!! I bought my daughter one and I am thinking of returning it.

I've always wanted a cookie press and after reading reviews decided this was the best value. I love that it is stainless steel - it is very durable and I know it will last for many years to come. Lots of attachments included - makes baking fun! So far I've made some great cheesestraws and sugar cookies with it. Easy to use and easy to clean. Love the storage case - keeps it all organized. This must be the best cookie press there is. I highly recommend this as a gift for someone else or even yourself :o)

Kuhn Rikon Safety Lid Lifter Deluxe Can Opener

Can opener works really well once one learns the new way to attach the opener to the can. Draining excess liquids from cans also requires re-training as the opened lids fits fairly tight. Minor side note: Lids will no longer slide to the bottom of an empty can preventing can-in-can compactness in the recycle bin.

Kuhn Rikon Paring Knife Nonstick Blue

Be careful, these are very sharp! The plastic cover is just what you need if you are packing for a picnic or going camping. The colors are pretty cool also.

Kuhn Rikon Corn Zipper, Stainless

We had high hopes for this little device. My in-laws grow and freeze a ton of corn each year and wanted a better way of getting the corn from the cobs. It cuts only one or two rows at a time and was extremely messy to use. Using a good old-fashion knife worked much better and didn't cause a huge mess. Sorry to say but this little device just isn't worth it.

Kuhn Rikon Original 4-Inch Swiss Peeler, White

I broke my last peeler Swiss peeler, after many years of service, and was looking high and low in the stores for a replacement. I actually purchased another peeler, that brand they sell at Bed Bath and Beyond, and spent $9.00 on it. What a jerk I am!

This one is by far the best, keeps an edge, has a good feel in your hand and never slips and nicks you.

I bought two, now my estate will have one when I am gone.

Kuhn Rikon Paring Knife Nonstick Orange

We use these knives daily in our kitchen prep... everything from veggies, fruits,salads,etc. - we are constantly using them and bought more in different colors. We actually have a very high end kitchen knife set in a butcher block - and we use these little kitchen aids more often. Very good for all your kitchen chopping needs.
