Norpro Butter Keeper

One star isn't what I give the actual product, but rather the experience I had trying to get it from Amazon. The first arrived broken; they sent a second one; it arrived in even worse shape than the first. Other reviewers have complained about the same thing - obviously the shipping method being used isn't adequate. I ended up getting one elsewhere - all it took was a little bubble wrap and it arrived in perfect shape.
The item itself is great, but I'd get it elsewhere!

Norpro Mini Cheesecake Pan

I love cheesecakes but they can be sort of heavy and intimidating, especially these days when everyone seems to be dieting. And when you slice them, they can get very messy looking.

I bought two of these cheesecake pans and they solve the above problems! You end up with a perfect neat serving amount and the petite rounds make the cheesecake very appealing and not heavy-seeming at all. They only take 15 minutes to bake (l turned off the oven and left them in for an extra five) and release easily. Now I'm casting about for what else I can bake in these pans because people do like the individual serving size and the cute shape. Good product.

Norpro Bread Slicer with Crumb Catcher

I started to make bread again in my bread maker. However it seems like I was not able to get an even slice for toasting. This slicer helps keep the knife evenly spaced for each slice. I had a little trouble keeping the sides together so the end plate would not fall out, but finally got the system going. Now I need to purchase a good sharp bread slicing knife to make my life perfect.

Norpro Pasta Drying Rack

This pasta drying rack is simple and very functional. I find its holding capacity equals the yield of an average batch of pasta, enough for about 4-6 servings. I think if I were entertaining and doubling my recipe I could probably squeeze it all on without much trouble. To store the rack, remove the dowels and lay them all together. You will need storage space enough for the base, about 8 inches, and for the dowels, about 18 inches. I store it all in my baking cabinet under my island countertop. If you are like me, maybe you have been hanging your noodles/pasta anywhere you can find a place. ha ha :) - that works okay but it's really great to finally have a rack and for the price you really can't go wrong!

Norpro 5 1/2-Inch Stainless Steel Funnel with Detachable Strainer

The strainer is almost impossible to get seated so the oil bypasses, as well as material that needs to be filtered out. The strainer clogs readily and it takes quite a while to even attempt to filter the cooking oil. Very frustrating to use.

Norpro Cordless Mini Mixer

This product works! I use it to mix up protein shakes. It is small and easy to clean. It essentially is a piece of molded plastic with a motor that holds two AA batteries. The on/off switch is plastic that depresses a metal contact. Put together it feels solid. With fresh batteries it really can whip up a drink. The only think I don't like about it is, its does not have any speed variance. It's either full on or full off. So to prevent splashing an on/off pulse method is used. Amazingly enough the little device still has plenty of power using half exhausted batteries. I used the NIMH batteries that my digital cameras says are dead; they work great in this mixer. Norpro Stainless Steel 10 Inch x 15 Inch Baking Sheet

1. It scratches - just from cleaning it with scotch-brite sponge. This is the only stainless steel item I have that scratches.

2. It warps - easily and frequently.

3. It has a depression around the cooking surface (before the sidewalls) that is difficult to clean.

Very sorry I bought it - will probably send it to the recycling service.
