Oxo Good Grips Grater

We bought this hand grater to replace an aluminum hand grader with a looped rolled aluminum handle. That honestly was a pain to use.

This grater has a very comfortable handle and does an excellent job compared to what we had been using.

I would recommend this and all of the OXO Good Grips items to any of my Family and friends.

Oxo Good Grips Stainless Steel Convertible Colander

For $25, I expected something that would last more than a year. Got this for Christmas last year, and one of the handles broke completely off a few weeks ago (October). Do yourself a favor and buy a different product.

Follow up: Two days after I posted this review, the other handle fell off. I won't be buying from this company again.

Oxo Good Grips Small Scoop Colander, Stainless

This is truly a versatile kitchen tool. I use it for noodles, wontons, veggies and more. Place it in a pan with of water and bring it to a slow boil. Place two eggs directly into the scoop and poach them to perfection, lift them out and leave very little mess in your pan. The grips fit firmly in your hand and there is a good balance to the unit. I would highly recommend this scoop to anyone who really enjoys good kitchen tools.

Oxo Good Grips Mini Chopper

This thing is completely useless. Its too small. Nothing fits in the small chamber, well perhaps a few peanuts or maybe two cashews. It doesnt chop it mashes and as other reviewers mentioned, it is extremely difficult to clean. Maybe the regular size chopper is better, but stay away from this mini chopper!!

Oxo Good Grips Natural Bristle Veggie Brush

This brush didn't last a month. The bristles are too soft and become deformed. I last used it when I steamed cleaned my barbeque grill and then tossed it.

Oxo Good Grips Professional 6-Inch Chef's Knife

I ordered this and 6 other similar knives that have sets under $200 and are well reviewed.

pros: I have to say for the price, after a good sharpening, its an excellent blade, it appears Cast or Forged, though its sold on some sites as Stamped, the shoulder has no joint so it would need to be stamped from 1/2" or bigger stock, so might as well be forged as it is thick and sturdy. its held the edge well, it came fairly sharp, but a little work in a simple sharpener made it almost perfect. handle is super comfy.

I like alot about it, its been run through the dishwasher a few times, no rust, or spots, If you are going to use in the dishwasher, use a heated dry cycle or remove immediately to wipe dry, we are using Electrasol all in ... Read More:

Oxo Good Grips Y Peeler

I've been using this peeler for about 2.5 months. At the beginning it was the greatest peeler I've ever owned. I mean I could peel through veggie skins like butter but within a couple of months the peeler stopped becoming so sharp. Now I have a hard time peeling through ginger skins. This peeler was mostly use for potatoes and sometimes gingers. I didn't peel anything hard with it but it still lost it's sharpness.

It's a much higher quality device and really built to last.
It does a great job of drying greens and you won't crack the bowl when you inevitably drop it or spin it off the countertop !
