Oxo SteeL Cocktail Shaker

I work as the bar manager for a restaurant in NYC. Recently I purchased four of these shiny little shakers because I thought they were visually appealing. Unfortunately, they leak all over the place, making a sticky mess in their wake.

These certainly look sheik, but perhaps look elsewhere if you are looking for a high volume, truly functional bar accessory.

Oxo Good Grips Strawberry Huller

This product does a fine job of cutting out the center of the strawberry but then leaves the little plug that results behind. There is no mechanism for grabbing the core that you just cut out & removing it.
Pretty worthless in my opinion.

Oxo Good Grips Silicone Jar Spatula

This summer I bought several Rubbermaid silicone spatulas & silicone spoon spatulas. I was disappointed they didn't have the half-spatulas, (jar scrapers, spreaders) in silicone. I recently added a variety of silicone spreaders and spatulas to a larger order of other items, (free shipping on all).

I can't say enough about silicone utensils - great for cooking, great for scraping and clean up easily. I soak my silverware before they go into the dishwasher. I added a second large yogurt container of soapy water for the silicone and rubber spatulas, etc.

Unless the food is oily, (mayo) or sticky, (peanut butter), I just rinse with hot water after a short soak.

Oxo Good Grips Citrus Juicer

No complaints here - this juicer does a great job with lemons, limes and oranges. Larger grapefruits may be a bit of a challenge, but I haven't actually tried one either. The two sided part is handy and I do agree that the holes that strain the juice are generous, but I rarely get a seed in the cup and if they were smaller I think they'd clog with pulp. The grippy bottom is nice so it doesn't scoot all over the counter while you're using it. Finally, it's solid enough that I'd have to really work to break it - a real plus in my kitchen!

Oxo Good Grips Touch Can 10-1/2-Gallon/40-Liter, Brushed Stainless Steel

This looks great in my kitchen and is very easy to replace the bags and open/close the lid. My only small issue is that it does show fingerprints but overall I am very pleased with its functionality and appearance.

For some reason I feel is a little to short for my shaker. I have to push it down sometimes to avoid having things going through. Maybe is the design and not the size, who knows?
