Ice crusher blender blade cutter for Oster & Osterizer

I really hoped that this blade and ring would help me solve the leak problem w/my extremely old blender. I really only needed the ring to stop the leaking, but figured that since my blender is so old, that it would be a great idea to go ahead and get the blade that came with the ring. They were too small for my blender. I don't know how old my blender is. With all of the reviews of people having good luck with their 20-25 yr old blenders, I thought it'd be worth a shot. I guess my blender is even older than theirs (like from the 60s, lol) I wish I could give a higher rating, but I don't know how well it works, the 2 stars is for quick delivery.

5 cup, square top glass jar assembly.

I have a vintage multispeed Sears blender that is still going strong. When the original glass jar cracked I was faced with replacing the whole blender. I even went shopping for new ones and found they didn't measure up to the robustness or design of the old Sears. When I came across this replacement assembly I was happy. The price was very good and it came with all new fitting and lid. I was really happy when it showed up. It is very thick glass, very high quality and matches the blender even better than the original. Nice find!

Oster 5711 Mechanical Food Steamer

I bought this steamer to replace a different brand steamer that I returned due to poor design.
This one has worked like a charm.
I like the roomy 2 tiers that fit together well and the built-in egg holders. I also found I prefer the manual turn dial to the electronic ones that are available on other types of steamers -- I have not had any issues with it malfunctioning.
The steaming begins almost immediately and the unit does not need to be taken apart to add water.

just got this blender and i have to say its really great, i'v only made a handful of shakes but i can tell a huge difference from my old blender. the preset button makes it easy, just drop in the stuff and one click later u have a great shake or smoothie. this thing shreds ice like nobody's business.

Oster 10-Speed Blender – White

bought this blender years ago and I hardly use it.You can't pour out of it without spilling,water gets in between the two layers and it takes forever to dry and then it leaves a dirty film,doesn't lock onto the base, so you have to stand there and watch it or hold it on. Can't find a replacement jar so I'm stuck with it till it quits working. VERY BAD PRODUCT.

I would have given this 5 stars but the straw is really difficult to clean. The concept is brilliant, no more cleaning the blender out, just stick the components of your smoothie in a cup and go. What could be easier!

Oster 3210 Electric Nonstick Quesadilla Maker

The Oster 3210 Quesadilla Maker is really great product except for the way it closes. The inside plates are not removable but even that's not a big deal. If it had a better closing mechanism, it would be great!

Oster Metallic Electric Can Opener - 3147

My first electric can opener wore out after about 20 years. So I bought a new Oster 3147 can opener to solve the problem. This can opener does not work any better than the 20 year old can opener I threw away.

Oster 6684 12-Speed Blender, Black

It's got plenty of power, allowing me to make delicious, refreshing, and healthy smoothies. It crushes ice and frozen strawberries easily and quickly. I got it for $35 from Amazon, so the quality/price ratio is very good.

That said, there are some drawbacks. The main one is that the lid is a bit leaky, so occasionally water or juice will squirt out. It's also very loud. And the cord is shorter than I would like it to be (about 2').
