Osterizer 4126 Contemporary Classic Beehive Blender, Red

After years of having an Oster blender, I decided to buy a Cuisenart(sp), well after only 2 years, and many problems even putting the jar onto the bottom, the PLASTIC gears stripped, and left blender do all over the counter! Needless to say that was it with my making a pie that day with that blender. So I decided to research my next purchase. And I did, very well. The Oster blenders kept coming up as best to buy on numerous sites. And the Osterizer 4126 was rated among the top. Ok it's red, and that was a draw, but the power, and lack of buttons, just two speeds and that's enough. I love it, whips up cream cheese, condensed milk pies in a jif. Great milkshakes! Oster 4094 Classic Osterizer Blender, Chrome

I must totally agree with the reviewer that called this blender "Utter Garbage".

Same thing happened. The drive shaft sheared off after filling it with water and then dropping in a piece of banana.

The really crazy thing is this exact thing has happened 3 times in less then a year. Sure they send me a new blender each time it happens but it takes 2-3 weeks to get the new blender. So no blender in the house for 2-3 weeks each time this happens.

The "Utter Garbage" reviewer left her review in Sept. 2004 and today is March 5, 2008 and it still seems to be the exact design on this model blender.

Oster 6010 6 Piece Blender Accessory Refresh Kit

I just picked this kit up at kmart for $10. I was excited because I needed the rubber gaskets and the blade, the lid was to big. Now the blender I inherited (I think it was made in the 60's), can be used again. The blade and gaskets fit perfectly in my old blender.

Oster 6642 12-Speed Blender, White

My Mother had an Oster blender from the 1970's for over 30 years and it worked great until the last few years. So I went and bought her a new one but it was terrible and had an awful burning smell. So I thought there was a defect just in that particular blender, and I returned it and foolishly got another one. The new one is just as bad and since I bought it at Filene's (which closed) I can't even return it. I bought a KitchenAid recently and even though it was $100.00 it was worth every penny. It's wonderful! I will never buy another Oster product again. I was so disappointed. I don't understand what happened to the quality of their product and it's interesting that other people have had the same experiences.

Oster 6071 6-Slice Toaster Oven, Black/Silver

This oven is great! It does everything. It toast, broils, cooks, heats...everything! It looks nice too. I really love the timer also. When the timer goes off, the oven goes off. It matches our kitchen items also. We bought it at Target on sale for $59.99...that's $10 off the normal price.
