Tovolo Sunflower Yellow Basting Brush

I would give this a 5 star rating, since its clean up is a breeze, but I had to deduct one star. The bristles flex a bit much to my liking, as I mostly use a basting brush on baby back ribs. Other people may want something a bit more flexible for their applications. I rather enjoy not having to spend a lot of time picking bits of meat out of a baster, and this one is the only baster that I know of that comes apart the way it does. When I say apart, I mean in like three ways! The bottom slides off, exposing the bristles to slide completely off the handle. Then the bristles themselves unfold from thirds to lay itself out for a thorough washing. Maybe that is what causes it to be so flexible though.

i found these molds to be quite nice in forming the proper shapes for the holiday season. with the right recipe these molds will shape properly and by using a 'baking spray' which is what i used on them, the cake will pop out and clean up with them is easy, i was pleased with these molds on my first use.

Tovolo Tea Infuser, Red

I bought two of these- green and red. They work very well and are very stylish looking. I keep them out on the kitchen counter and people compliment and ask where I got them. The base is also a dripping catchment bowl which makes for less messy tea. A very good product! I plan to order several more.

Tovolo Spatulart Silicone Measurement Conversion Bowl Scraper, Red

I purchased the MUI silicone scrapers and liked them, but they were a bit too flexible for some uses. I bake a number of Artisan-style breads and needed something that would cut the dough without damaging my cherry cutting board. This scraper is perfect! It is rigid enough to allow the user to cut yeast doughs, but gentle enough not to damage surfaces. I will be buying several more!

Tovolo Standz Julienne Peeler, Green

To julienne carrots, you have to press very firmly. If you do it right, the results are great. It's nice that it stands on its own and you don't have to lay it on your counter top.

This is a great looking silicone spoon. It is in my opinion the perfect shade of bright green, and the sleek, brushed metal handle feels nice in your hand. As you'd expect, since the handle is metal if you leave the spoon in a hot pot on the stove, the handle will get extremely hot. That I knew when I bought this item. What I didn't expect was that compared to nylon or stainless steel spoons of the same size, this one has a shallower bowl because the silicone is pretty thick. For this reason, if you use this spoon as a serving piece, it won't scoop up food as easily as a nylon or stainless spoon would. However, I will continue to buy Tovolo products because they look good and are well made.
