This blender replaced a KitchenAid model, and there's really no comparison between the two. The Waring is superior at blending, pouring and clean-up. I've mostly used it for smoothies, using frozen fruit, protein powder and milk. It whips everything into a finely blended froth in no time. The blades are very efficient and create a whirlpool effect to ensure everything is blended thoroughly. Clean-up is a breeze - just rinse out, add a drop of soap and some water, blend for a few seconds, rinse out the soap, and then blend once more with clean water to ensure everything is rinsed. I don't see any issues with only having two speeds. It's great to work with such a high-quality product.

nice to look at, however must be handled with care...glass is very thin and breaks, chips, easily....also be sure to NEVER put in the dishwasher as the decorative features on the glass simply dissolve.....I would not order these again...

Oster 10-Speed Blender – White

bought this blender years ago and I hardly use it.You can't pour out of it without spilling,water gets in between the two layers and it takes forever to dry and then it leaves a dirty film,doesn't lock onto the base, so you have to stand there and watch it or hold it on. Can't find a replacement jar so I'm stuck with it till it quits working. VERY BAD PRODUCT.

I would have given this 5 stars but the straw is really difficult to clean. The concept is brilliant, no more cleaning the blender out, just stick the components of your smoothie in a cup and go. What could be easier!

A wonderful blender - great looks, works every time, simple controls. I'd give it a five-star if it wasn't a bit on the expensive side. I don't know what the fuss is about with the noise level in previous reviews. This is quieter than the 5-year-old Kitchen Aid we had to throw out because its motor burned out and the vendor no longer carries a replacement part. For a $100 blender?? Come on, Kitchen Aid! And the motor burned out because of poor design of the blade assembly, which tended to stick.

These are beautiful glasses and they will match your Sorrento dishes nicely. They are very delicate.

Amazon shipped these to me in two seperate shipments and both boxes arrived with some of the glasses completely shattered. The glasses that weren't shattered were broken at the stem. They do not pack these well at all. Very little cushion in the boxes. And you (apparantly) have to pay to send them back just to receive broken ones as a replacement.

Nice flask for holding your favorite beverage. I gave it 4 stars because it has a plastic screw on cap. I think most flasks like this one have plastic caps. Still, this is a good product at a fair price.

The electronic wine library gets each varietal to its perfect serving temperature with ease. If you have 15-20 minutes before you want to drink then this unit works great.

Riedel Vinum Extreme Cabernet/Merlot Glasses, Set of 2

This is a very nice wine glass and the biggest red wine glass I have owned. It is significantly larger (28oz vs 22oz, about an inch taller and has a wider bowl) than the Riedel Vinum Red Wine Glasses I own. Personally, it is not as comfortable to hold due to the very large size. Also, be very careful hand washing all Riedel Red Wine Glasses as not to twist off the stem. I've done it twice when I thought I was being careful. My recommendation - skip the 'Vinum Extreme' line, stick with the 'Vinum' line.
