I have had this since May and it has worked wonderfully. Two evenings ago, I put spaghetti sauce in the blender (it was too chunky for my kids). I turned the blender on and the blades rotated once (maybe). Suddenly, there was smoke coming out of the unit. I let it sit for a while to cool off. I tried it again, with only water inside. It wouldn't work at all. This was not a cheap blender and we did not overuse it. My daughter makes smoothies on Friday mornings. Now, I will have to try to return it.

It is cool and it really does the trick. The taste of the wine changes and I would say it is to the better. Also it has a nice design, it is fast and not too expensive.

Chargers worked but the end product was not very bubbly. I am not sure weather it is the charger or the proceedure. The instructions did not give a help section.

Great blender, but cheap plastic lid cracked in 2 places within 2 months. And I don't think a replacement is available.

This KitchenAid stick blender is versatile, powerful, and easy to use/clean.

I like the chopper attachment it actually works very well.

The unit seems to be well made and I believe it will last a long time.

Rival IB954W 2-Speed Ultrablend Blender

Most of the hand blenders I've had were a pain to clean and became clogged when trying to blend soups. This one, on the other hand is very easy to clean. It may not have the most power, but that's a quibble. That it's easy to clean is why I'm liking it.

We are so amazed how much better wine tastes--any kind of wine--after using this filter. We tested it out pouring a nice bottle in a glass and the rest through the filter in to the $40 decanter someone recommended. Not only did the wine taste better immediately. The decanted wine was better all night than the liquid that went straight into the glass. Works on cheap wine, too. And it makes a nice show when pouring. Enjoy.
