This machine produces the nicest foam I've ever seen and there is no mess as with expresso machines. I have had mine for about two years, yet continued to purchase expensive coffee drinks at various places for convenience. Since most of us are carefully considering our budgets these days (or should be), one of the areas I realized I could save in was making my lattes and cappacino coffee drinks at home instead of paying $3-4 each for them at coffee retailers. I make a pot of very strong coffee or a little pot of expresso and then top with froth from my Froth au Lait--voila! The people who complained about difficulty pouring from the pitcher are correct, it can be messy. The blender is loud, but it does the job IF you allow it time to work.

If you are impatient, you will be frustrated by an incomplete job. I use mine for frozen daiquiris and the result is excellent, but slow.

So in a nutshell: thorough; noisy; slow.

Fred Bone Chillers Ice Cube Tray

The concept is cute, but the ice cubes are hard to get out of the tray. The tray is very flexible which helps, but to get the ice cubes out of the tray without "breaking the ice", sort-of-speak, one must either let the ice cubes sit for a few minutes or just run water over them which loosens the cubes and therefore they become easier to remove without breaking a few skulls.

Summary: fair quality with some annoyances.
Should you buy: probably not.

I've got to warn you, I'm going to be a bit critical here. I can see a lot of people love these glasses but for me they weren't so great.

Typically we buy our glasses at Ikea. The quality is good and the price is nice.

However, with gas prices being what they are, and Ikea not being very close, we decided to try these glasses. Given the fact that there is no shipping charge (I'm with prime) and no taxes, we felt the price was reasonable.

The good:
1) They work as intended.
2) They feel durable without feeling "heavy".

I bought a pair of these because they were the mainstay in my favorite Boston area cafe (the Diesel!) and since relocating to Arizona, hot coffee in clear glasses has been missing from my life. These glasses are beautiful to look at, a pleasure to hold and drink from and insulate you from both cold and hot drinks so you can comfortably lift a hot coffee without getting burned or put a tall cold one on a wooden table without a coaster. Also because of the double walled glass, they look cool - the drink seems to "float" inside the glass. But be careful - they are glass and not plastic so they'll break with an impact on a hard floor, countertop or sink. Fred Frozen Smiles Ice Cube Tray

I own several Fred products, so picking up these was an easy choice. I actually bought them with a couple other items that were all on the 4-for-3 promo.

These are very humorous and easy to remove from the mold. I agree that the details melt away rather quickly, but here's what I do that seems to help. After unmolding, I place them on a plate w/ wax paper and put them back in the freezer while I make some more. I do this so there are at least 12-16 and if they have had additional time in the freezer outside of the mold, they do seem to last a bit longer. Also make sure you are using cold beverages to begin with if possible.
