Oxo Good Grips LiquiSeal Travel Mug

I bought this mug on the recommendation of many people - and it IS easy to use and seems to be leak proof, but am thinking it will be hard to clean. The mug breaks down into to pieces, the lid and the mug, but there's no way to take the lid apart to really clean it. Just called the company to ask if I was missing something, but was told that no, the lid doesn't come apart, and they recommend washing it immediately after us, or at least rinsing out the lid when finished. Easy to say, harder for me to do - I tend to forget to clean it out right away and would have liked something that I could take apart and scrub when it gets gross.

Well, I guess i've had it for quite a while now, I believe over half a year. I've broken-in Dunkin' Donuts pre-ground into it. Well, for the first two months or so, it tasted good. Now though, it's about watered down, and, erg.. I want to say bitter, but thats not quite the word.

So I cleaned it like the booklet said to, with vinegar (calcium deposits build up from the water and give it that off-taste. But it still doesn't taste right. I don't think this coffee maker would be for the typical coffee connoisseur; unless its the type of connoisseur who likes to savour the taste of bad sewer water mixed with stale folgers coffee.

Our Mr. Coffee broke after about 10 months of use and then we went out and purchased a Kitchen Aid that quit working after 2 weeks. After reading these reviews online for the Cuisinart brand we decided to give this coffee maker a shot.

Wow, we are extremely pleased with the taste this maker produces - it is so good!! I'm actually shocked that this great of coffee comes out of my kitchen. I know some people have voiced frustration since it doesn't come with a coffee pot, but it's really not that big of a deal - any pitcher will work and there is a measurement indicator on the side.

I would definitely recommend this brand out of the top 3 I listed above.

I recently got a B30 Mini Brewer and it is my first Keurig brewer. I am in love with this machine!

I read the reviews of the Pod Holster and thought I'd get one in the event that I was ever short on the k-cups and needed to make a quick run for the grocery store.

I got my holster yesterday and gave it a try with a pod of Senseo French Vanilla. I followed the instructions provided in the (very helpful) video posted as a review here on Amazon. It worked like a charm!

I did not experience any of the splashing or spatters that a few experienced, and everything worked for me just like in the video.

The pods are a bit cheaper than the k-cups, and it's just a convenient accessory to keep with your brewer.

Great for cleaning but hard to find in retail stores and when you find it they are expensive. Glad to see I can purchase them directly on Amazon.com :) I love my Jura Capresso and will do anything to keep it working!!

It's pretty. (My wife bought it at a store without checking Amazon as part of her kitchen remodeling project.) I don't have any problem with the coffee quality. And the automatic shut-off is a nice feature. But it is virtually impossible to use the carafe to fill the water reservoir because: (1) It is difficult to pour water out of the carafe without spilling it under the "best of circumstances" and only if you have lot more time on your hands than I do when I am trying to get off to work in the morning; and (2) the angle at which the carafe must be held while filling the reservoir is not the "best of circumstances." It is almost as difficult to pour coffee into a cup without spilling unless you have the patience of Job. Nobody needs to put up with this. ... Read More:

works great keeps coffee hot long enough for me let stand for an hour and it was still hot. filter works ok but will un screw if you mess with it left coffee in it for a few days to season the stainless and get rid of the metallic flavor from the first pot

I just cleaned my Zoji electric hot water dispenser with the ADC-05 Pot Cleaner and I am extremely impressed! I had at least six months of build-up in my pot and was skeptical as to if it was up for the job. I live in California where there are a lot of impurities and minerals in the tap water.

I filled the pot with water, heated it to the highest setting and added the cleaner. It immediately started bubbling, like a really hot alka seltzer. I closed the pot and waited for twenty minutes. I ran the solution through the dispenser and rinsed it out in the same fashion approximately four times.

Came as pictured, but doesn't keep drinks that hot and the "on" indicator light is almost impossible to see if it is on or off, unless the room is completely dark. This item needs to be re-designed to allow more heated plate and a much better indicator light.
