This is the second set of non-stick Cuisinart cookware we have pruchased over the years and, once again, the pieces within it have lived up to our high expectations!
Considering it's middle-of-the-road price the quality of the pieces seem exceptional. I great purchase for a growing family that includes plenty of cooks, but certainly not any chefs! Ha!
The concept of this is a great. It is made of non stick metal which can easily be cleaned but it is not very strong and can be bent easily. I wondered how the bottom of the tray would be able to hold the brownie mixture without dripping out of the "open bottom" pan since the plate just sits on it. My question was answered after the first use. I found crusted burnt brownie mix all over the bottom of my oven. I am going to continue using this because it will cut the brownies to a perfect size and they easily slide off the pan but make sure to place the pan on a baking sheet while baking to avoid a mess.
My ancient dutch oven originally came with a glass lid, which was broken many years ago during a move... I'd never gotten around to replacing it, and so rarely found uses for the dutch oven.
The Lodge lid fits my "other brand" pot perfectly, and has given a nearly-forgotten utensil a new lease on life.
I can't wait until Christmas so I can make real cookies and take to my friends and family. I also will make doggie cookies too. I love to bake and can't wait.
I bought this pan to cook candy because it is tall and narrower by at least an inch than All Clad. This allows the bulb of the thermometer to be under the liquid. The pan performed very well and its being non-stick is great for candy making. I agree with a previous reviewer about the lid, which does not fit tight; however, this did not seem to be an issue to make candy where you often have to put the lid on to trap steam to dissolve any sugar crystals. Even with the somewhat loose-fitting lid, the steam still formed (you can see it through the glass lid). I think it is a good idea, if you buy this for candy-making, to reserve it for that purpose only; if you use it for other things it will soon be scratched. Even with a wooden spoon there were ... I LOVE this pan. You'll never see a burned bottom to anything anymore! The other thing I love about it is that, when you want something browned a little more then usual, you still won't burn the bottom. Totally recommend this for all your baking needs.
Definitely a good purchase. I bought this set about 4 months ago and they have been perfect! They still look brand new. Yes they are heavy, but that's a plus, they are thick and distribute heat very well.
Eggs cook well on the non-stick.
The strainer is awesome to steam artichokes in the large pot.
The saucer is perfect for even cooking veggies you would cook in a wok.
I'm sure this item is all that buyer's have reported in the many positive reviews. However, please be aware that the Cameron Manufacturing (USA based company) description does not mention that this item is actually manufactured in China, using metals from that country. I only noticed this when I saw the small sticker on the bottom of the pan when unwrapping it. As is well known, and now reported on a daily basis in our consumer news, there seems to be little to no regulation on USA imports from China, especially where metals/alloys are concerned; ie: millions of China made lead toys and milk products recently recalled, etc.. During the recent Olympics, I watched an alarming documentary showing where China is knowingly using melted lead in place of stainless ... Read More:

These one-piece lid lifters are prone to dumping ash in the food. They're better than nothing, but don't grip the lid tighly.
They don't grip the lid firmly like the good lifters (with the three legs and the hook operated by gripping the handle). The good lid lifters retail for about the same price as this lifter. There's no reason to buy this design. They will will put a huge smile on your face the first time you discover you don't have to do any kind of balancing act.
I've been looking on Amazon, but for some odd reason it looks like they don't carry the good lid lifters, which are available at any outdoors store that carries dutch ovens. Please Amazon, offer the three-leg+hook lifters, sometimes called "deluxe" lifters!
