Chicago Metallic 12-Cup Nonstick Madeleine Pan

The first batch of cornbread cookies I made with the pan came out very well and look just like they do in the pictures. The pan is easy to clean and retains its new look. Even though it has a coated surface, I found a light dusting of spray cooking oil made the baking experience even smoother. There was absolutely no sticking, and the cookies came out perfectly. This is an excellent product. I definitely recommend it.

This item was a gift for my mother because she liked ours so much. Unfortunately, this one did not come with a cork trivet like ours did.

I got this for my wife who used to be a baker at Minglewood cafe in Ely, MN - she slept above the cafe when she worked there. Before that and after college when she first moved to Ely, she slept in the back of her Honda Accord until she found the cafe. Her parents still don't know about this. She didn't like the cake decorating set - but rather than tell me straight out when return was an option, she tried to be accomodating of my feelings. Stating, "Yeah, it looks good." And, "...it should be ok." Come 6 months and a few fights later, it has been made obvious to me that this set is subpar. I purchased this pan for my son's 1st birthday. It looked adorable and I thought it woulod be a real treat that every child would get a train car decorated with candy. I made 9 different cakes in this pan and only one came out good enough for the party (at midnight before the party!). I was so frustrated with a $35- pan. I even called the company and the woman I spoke to told me to keep trying and freeze the cars that came out good so when the party came I would have at least a couple of cars and maybe a whole train if I was lucky! I started "practicing" about 6 weeks before the big day. I did end up talking to the Nordic ware store in MN and they sent me 3 bunt mixes. I tried 2 with no luck and then used a pound cake.
