Great replacement pan for my toaster-oven. Enjoyed for 2 months so far. Finish seems durable with no scratching yet. Light color, so does not burn like a dark finish. Original pan that came with toaster-oven was dark, finish peeled easily and not as good as this replacement.

This is a fine egg poacher. Wipe 'er down with a little bit of butter before you put the egg in, and it will not stick. If you do not do that, it will stick ... I tried it.

Joyce Chen 10-Inch Bamboo Steamer Set

This is my second one. The bamboo steamer's cover will not drop the water, which is condensed from the steam, back to the food being cooked which may ruin the texture and flavor of the delicacies. That is the reason why I prefer the bamboo one to the aluminum one.

I bake semi-professionally, making at least three batches of cookies a week on these sheets. They are absolutely the best for cookies, I won't use anything else, and they have lasted for years and years.

The irony of the negative reviewers on this site is that their baked goods are sticking only because they greased the sheet! Cookies should always be baked on an ungreased sheet. If a recipe calls for a greased sheet, such as with biscuits, always use shortening because such a thin layer of butter will burn, causing the biscuits to stick to the sheet.

Truthfully, as a dedicated canner I had my doubts about anything aluminum!

After doing much research and reading the horror stories of those who purchased canners from other manufatures - I decided to take a chance on the All-American pressure canner with the hope that I the high price paid would be a reflection of the quality of the product.

Fortunately my choice was the right one! I could not be more satisfied with both the quality of the product as well as the ease of use.

I love this set. They are easy to use, great for cooking, and look wonderful. I use Bar Keepers Friend to clean them and no longer have problems with water spots. I think this set is going to last a lifetime.

Cuisinart Chef's Classic Nonstick Bakeware 9-1/2-Inch Fluted Cake Pan

I bought this Cuisinart Cake Pan on May 12, 2008. It has a good weight and makes fabulous streusel cake, coffee cake, etc. They come out of the pan nice and brown and do not stick. Clean-up is simple. I use baking as a form of relaxation and this cake pan makes it easy and a pleasure.

HERE IS A HINT ABOUT GREASING HEAVYWEIGHT PANS: I use butter or margarine (stick only) approximately 1/3 - 1/2 of a stick when using one deep pan, divide it if using 2 regular pans and do not have to flour pans. If using a recipe or cake mix let cake cool as long as stated. I do not get cakes that stick when using any of my heavyweight cake pans.

I love these pans! They are heavy duty and I can't imagine them every warping like some other cookie sheets. are absolutely marvelous and cookies come out beautifully on them! 12 cookies fit easily on them.

I haven't found any hot spots at all all the cookies bake evenly.

Definitely worth every penny and the cooling rack is a nice bonus also.

Fagor Splendid 6-Quart Pressure Cooker

I have a Presto 4 qt. pressure cooker which I like a lot, but wanted something bigger so I bought the Fagor 6 qt. The inside diameter of the Fagor is 8 3/4" vs 8 3/8" for the Presto, 3/8" difference which may not seem like much, but I cook mostly with stainless steel inserts, bowls and the like, to get the double boiler effect, and it's easier to get the bowls out of the Fagor, a tricky job when they are still hot. But the Fagor makes a hissing sound at a pitch I didn't like at all. So I went back to the Presto which makes a nice chuga-chuga sound with the little cap rocking back and forth, a sound I actually find pleasing (I'm a violinmaker, so sound matters to me).
