Believe it or not, I have never owned a crockpot, and I am 60 years old. I decided to purchase one and enjoy making some comfort foods for myself. I love this little inexpensive crockpot, in fact my sister says that I am going to wear it out. Even though I no longer work, I love putting everything in it, and enjoying the aroma as it cooks, and then later in the day have a wonderful meal, such as my beef barley stew, chicken soup, pineapple pork chops over rice, and now I am going to make some rice pudding and bread pudding. For the money, you could not get a better little crockpot, and I highly recommend it. Enjoy!

Oxo Good Grips Potato Ricer

I normally am a fan of OXO products, but this one is just to flimsy. I bent the flat steel between the handle and the disk the second time using it, now it's in the trash.
My wife had used it maybe a dozen times before me, so maybe for a gentle person it would be fine.

This product is good as to what it says. However, I feel the bowls are a little small. If it can be bigger, it will be great.

Trudeau Garlic Press

This garlic press has rubber sleeves that go over the handles, and when the press is washed water goes inside the sleeves, which requires taking the sleeves off after washing to dry out, or removing the sleeves prior to washing. Found this inconvenient.

Taylor Analog Instant-Read Dial Thermometer

This is an "old-style" analog thermometer that doesn't require batteries, lcd screens, etc. It works, but I prefer digital.

Hamilton Beach 76606 Pop-Top Electric Can Opener, Black and Chrome

I purchased this can opener for my mom (senior citizen) and she loves it. She said there are no sharp edges on the lids, the lids are rounded. It matches the decor of her kitchen. I plan on purchasing one for myself.

I have been using these bags for years. I cut 4-5 bags, about 12 inches long, at a time and seal the bottoms. When I wash them I put them over a wooden spoon in the drain. I label them above the cut-off line before sealing. I like buying chicken, chops, steaks, and burger in bulk at Sam's and divide them up into small, meal-sized portions. Blue berries freeze well as do strawberries. I cook up meat balls and freeze them. This machine and the bags are a wonderful addition to any kitchen and has an unlimited number of uses.. It will save you money and make your life a lot simpler.

Presto 04830 PowerPop Microwave Multi-Popper

I used to use the Nordic Ware 12-Cup Microwaver Corn Popper. I thought that I was happy with it - unil I received my Presto multi-popper. I pop popcorn frequently; I've used this product several times since I received it about a week ago. The popcorn tastes great and nearly every kernal pops. The seasons even seem to 'stick' to the popcorn better mmmmm.... flavor!

This suits me because I eat popcorn for a light, high fiber 'gourmet' snack that I can try with different oils and seasoning. I like popping it myself better than bagged because I can use Splenda to make kettle corn flavored popcorn and a medium amount of oil rather than either extreme. Farberware Classic Yosemite Stainless Steel Percolator

This is a good value for the price. It is large, of good quality and it makes good coffee. It does take awhile to heat the water (maybe this is just my stove but I don't think so) so brewing a pot often takes me 10 minutes or so but I just turn it on and continue with what I'm doing. It is lightweight, looks nice on the stove and can make a large quantity of coffee. I think next time I'll get an electric one but this works great for me
