It sounds like a great idea and I was really excited to complete the project. However, it has taken me TONS of time and I had to go buy new glue to even get it to work. The kit comes with really useless glue in a horribly inefficient dispenser. The glue doesn't hold corks in. Not to mention the corks never quite fit right so your cork board will never look like the example picture. I wish I hadn't wasted my time and money.

Everyone knows that wine is best enjoyed in an appropriate glass. My first introduction to Riedel was at a winery where I was served the same red in what must have been a shot glass on a stem, followed by a Riedel large enough to hold an entire bottle. Needless to say, it tasted better in the second one. No surprise here - red wine reaches its best potential in a large, round goblet; white wine should be concentrated in a smaller one; champagne's carbonation is conserved in a tall, thin glass. Many years ago, my friends and I frequently enjoyed Gallo in a thin stream from a wineskin; it probably would have been undrinkable out of a glass. There are appropriate glasses for beer, martinis, brandy - even water.

Very functional and easy to put together with some hammering. I would recommend the darker wood finishes. I bought the natural one and the unfinished wood looks cheap so we put in underneath our bar as our "functional winerack" rather than our "pretty winerack." Am considering painting it brown or black.

I have been very pleased with this bucket. The holder is a perfect place to keep the tongs, and the lid works great. I've been able to fill mine almost to the rim with ice without a problem, and I love that the lid flips open without having to set it somewhere. Some have complained about the capacity, but my opinion is if you need more ice, then you probably need to use a cooler. This has been ideal for parties with about 10 guests. In addition, after purchasing this, I had a problem with my tongs not opening correctly, so I emailed the company with my purchase information and asked for a replacement set of tongs. 2 weeks later I received an entire new ice bucket with tongs and holder in the mail free of charge.
