I received one magazine and thought it was great, but I have not received any others. $30 for one magazine is a bit steep! I see that there is another reviewer that says the magazine never made it to their mailbox either, so I'd think twice before subscribing to this magazine.

For a heterosexual guy, People en Espanol is boring. Issue after issue, it's nothing but "beautiful" celebrities (an "overkill" with Penelope Cruz in every issue); what celebrity got married or divorced; overpriced fashion; jewelry; make-up; hair-do; etc. People in English has similar contents; but it also has stories on current events, politics, and other news worthy stories. If People en Espanol would follow the English verison and cover current news events, it would be much more interesting to me. As it stands now, subscribing to People in Espanol was a mistake for me!

THE ONLY DIFERENCE BETWEEN THE ENGLISH VERSION AND SPANISH, IS THE THE GIRLS ON THE SPANISH ISSUES ARE HOTTER THAN THE ONES IN ENGLISH, BUT THE ARTICLES ON THE ONE IN ENGLISH ARE MORE SASSY AND FUN, I HAVE A FEW CO-WORKERS THAT JUST LOVE THE HISPANIC WOMEN, AND I AGREE WITH THEM,SPECIALY IF YOU LOOK AT BARBARA KARI FROM PARAGUAY, SHE IS A HOTTIE,AND WHO COULD FORGET THE ISSUE WITH SOFIA VERGARA, SHE IS A BOMB.

America) in an interesting form. It's also an excellent source for the AP Spanish Language class.

Cosmopolitan en Espanol

When I bought this magazine subscription I was under the impression that is for the Cosmo that is sold/printed in Spain. I was wrong. When my first issue arrived I see that it's nothing more than the United States/English version translated into Spanish. These 2 magazines are very different in content. While I'll read this, I will not renew. Just a "heads up" for anyone who wants to purchase this magazine.

I originally purchased Piensa as a supplement reading material for my husband who is taking Spanish. It seems to be a little difficult to find reading materials in Spanish for adults, and this magazine is really fun to read. It has a monthly recipe (which I liked!) and vocabulary words on each side for the article with which one is reading. It is a super concept, and am very glad we found it on Amazon!

This a high quality book, with great examples of exquisite decoration from many arquitects and design people, I highly recommend it for those who are begining a building project or just want to upgrade their homes.

My reason for subscribing to "Mira" is unique. I fell in love with the Spanish language years ago when I was stationed in Puerto Rico. After years of not practicing, 5 years ago I retired to an area that is 80% Latino. My interest was rekindled. I started taking classes and actively seeking ways to incorporate the language into my lifestyle rather than merely an educational persuit. With "Mira" I get to read about the scandles of the stars who appear in my novelas, as well as Latino talk show hosts and singers. Although my reading skills still need honing, thanks to my Latino friends, I understand enough to feel like I'm reading about people I know.
