I have been happy with the mag. but the only problem I have is that it tends to focus specifically on the latest OS. I understand there are a lot of people who have leopard but some of us still are happy using tiger. I have ordered another year so I would recommend this.

I've been getting this magazine and a couple of others for years now, how disappointing this one is with the lack of stories, informationd something useful. Its all reviews and ads. I finished the magazine in less than 5 min. Once my subscription runs out, won't renew.

I ahd to get the magazine for a class. The teacher said we were to get a big magazine first. But I didn't. So I don't know if that is the annual one you recieve at the beginning of the year. But overall, for the money saved, its a good magazine

HOW Magazine is great! It is a fantastic reference and guide for graphic designers and artists. It is on the cutting edge but also appreciates the early designers. The advice is from first hand successful designers and is informative and true to life. I highly recommend the magazine to anyone wanting to stay ahead of the graphic design game.

Text books are great, but outta date.

I get the best information from trade magazines. In my opinion, this has always been the best for the Videomaker. I first subscribed in 1998 when I jumped into the Avid world of NLE. Still relevant each month.

Just as Robert Carr wrote, this magazine is bland. Unfortunately, I subscribed to Create magazine for 2 years and this company bought it. When I got the first magazine I was extremely disappointed by its content, I contacted them immediately to cancel my subscription and was told that they can "honor" my cancellation but couldn't give me a refund, does that make any sense??

I sent a certified letter to the president with no answer. My last resort was an email stating that I will tell my story if they didn't give me my refund, again, they ignored me. So here I am, letting you know how badly they treat their costumers. Dynamic Graphics is a boring magazine with more pages of ads than information, and no respect for their customers. By the way, ... This is by far my favorite design magazine currently available. The quality and artwork is beyond anything else published. And it also provides tutorials that apply to real life situations. So everything is immensely useful.

Computer Arts recently began extending its subscription offer to US customers (finally). I purchased a copy of this @ Barnes & Noble, and there was a card inside that offered a 1 year subscription for only $99. MUCH better than $175.

Also, the tutorials are available on their website for free and anyone can access them.

Great magazine, great ideas!
