This mag is absolutely fab! Being a little bit wiley these days with my funds, (student) I cannot afford to subscribe to all the magazines that I like. This is the only one that I have GOT to have every time! It is a very good publication because it covers a wide variety of topics without scrimping on any info. A lot of magazines are beading mags, and only really cover beading. There are also metalsmith mags, that only really cover metalsmithing. This one manages to cover things like beginner metalsmithing, PMC, polymerclay and other interesting techniques. Every amateur jeweler (and lots of pros) should read this magazine. Each month, it offers a wide range of how-to articles aimed at different skill levels, including complete projects. The gallery section might really get your creative juices flowing, though. When I see so many fine pieces in so many materials and styles, it really makes me want to drop the magazine and get back to the bench. And, of course, the ads offer crafters many sources of tools, metal, gems, books, and other necessities.
