The magazine is LGBTQ authentic, richly entertaining, has wonderful articles, and great photos.

What's not to like?!!!

This stupid magazine was sent to me without my ever requesting it. Now I've got to stop the "subscription" that they've recorded for me. I don't think much of a magazine that bills me for something that I never ordered.

Instinct Magazine

I first learned about "Instinct" when I was at a party, and have since subscribed. I like the magazine; it's perfect for when you find "Out" too intellectually demanding. I enjoy the various articles, and the reviews of books and media are well-written.

Just a word of warning, though: if you subscribe, do NOT use the "bill me later" option. I dropped the postcard into the mail in late May, and it took them so long to send me a bill (I got it on 9/8 with a due date of 9/12) that they suspended my subscription for non-payment. This has since been resolved (the customer service online was very helpful), but if you subscribe, do so online or mail them the payment in advance. You'll save yourself a lot of headaches.

As far as porn mags go, this one is pretty weak. I bought this subscription for my boyfriend and he loved it, mostly coz he's into scrawny young guys like those featured in this magazine. They're not my type. Every now and then there's a hottie in there, but you've gotta look pretty hard to find him.

I wouldn't recommend this for someone without money, like me when I first started subscribing to this magazine. You are shown these amazing places and can't think of anything but being there yourself. but I went back to some old issues before traveliing to Europe a few weeks ago and some of their tips helped to enhance what was already a wonderful trip. I'm resubscribing to help get inspired for my next trip

Overall, a pretty vapid and mindless publication. Its amazing how you just stick BEAR on something and people will buy it. You could get a lot of this stuff from Ladies Home Journal and other magazines.
