Great magazine for teens! It's got a lot of good advise on what make-up to buy. Also, it has great healthy recipes, easy for teens to make. My daughter made a great veggie wrap. It was delicious.
I ordered Teen Vogue as a gift for my granddaughter who loves the magazine. The offer was excellent and it was an easy choice to make. Thanks for the opportunity to shop and save money.
This magazine really is perfect. It features real everyday girls, showing that girls really can do anything. Many people say that it isn't appropriate for an 8 or 9 year old, and not all of it is. But, there are several parts that really would be nice for those younger girls. If you were a parent of a younger girl who was interested in DG (Discovery Girls) I would suggest briefly looking through it before you would give it to her. But, once a girl is about 10 or 11 and they're mature enough it is quite perfect.
DG mostly covers advice about growing up and all of the things that come along with it. If you are looking for crafts and recipes it might not be the best magazine for you. The American Girl Magazine might be better. But, the only downside ... Read More:

My granddaughter, age 13, is crazy about a lot of celebrities. This was the perfect gift for her, and I have just renewed the subscription for two more years. The second she knows it has arrived, she is off to her bedroom to devour the whole issue. She then goes back and reads it again. (I am glad it only comes once a month, or I would lose her to her room)
I remember reading 'Teen Beat' and 'Tiger Beat' when I was younger. I figured why not let my daughter subscribe and this way save money over purchasing it in the stores each issue. It's fun for her to have to carry to school and read during lunch and other free-time moments. First issue arrived within one day of the seller's estimate....very good! A+ transaction! Many thanks!
Brio magazine is a christian girl's magazine for about 13-16 year olds, although it could be for as young as 8 or 9. Brio and Beyond is just the 'graduated' version, for 16-22 year olds. Being in the "brio" age group, I would highly reccomend Brio. It's the only magazine I am subscribed too, and I read it front to back the day it arrives in the mail. I really couldn't see a magazine more suitable for teen girls. It is perfect, and has a lot of fun suggestions to do with friends and siblings or yourself. one of my favorites was when they gave gace masks recipes, another one was Chai tea recipes. And that's just an example. They have short fiction stories, an 'ask susie' column, daily devotional, fashion, beauty, entertainment, and so much more! this would be perfect ... Read More:
Why do these magazines sell so well? They have dreamy pop stars on posters, and gossip, passing off as facts. This publication does just that.
They may have one or two feature stories.
Music artist are a huge draw, though few things are ever said about them. Instead comes a repeat of their favorites, and dislikes. I have a ton of these publication. Each has their own little quirks, making them more appealing to certain individuals.
Things have changed since the earlier teen magazines which consisted of mainly pictures, and not all in color.
However, these magazines need to further rethink. These magazines continue to push girls into something they may not want to be. There are females out there who could careless about the beauty, makeup, and fashion ... Read More:

I have a subscription. And the reason why I have one is for the fact that the magazine is a highly sought after collectible as is Vogue, Seventeen, and Sports Illustrated For Kids, (all of which can be found on Amazon.com ,. As for the contents, well, if you're into cheerleading in general, you'll want and need to read its contents. It covers the major competition results and schedules for upcoming events. It has fashion news, how to's for various routines, and bios on select cheerleaders and squads. It has tons of photos, and unlike some magazines on the market today which seem to be only aimed at publishing articles about sex, American Cheerleader is dedicated to the sport and ART of cheerleading. It is mainly aimed at cheerleaders in high school and college, but has a Junior cheerleader ... Read More:
I ordered this magazine on July 31, 2007. Today is December 14th and I haven't seen it yet. I'm sure it will probably be a good magazine if I ever get it!
