I have been reading this publication for some time now and as a member of the glass community I have found this to be the most informative source in the industry. With articals about not only glassworkers from every field, but how and what they make, this periodical is unserpassed in instructional and informative pictures and discriptions on a wide range of subjects. For the beginner to the expert in the glass industry, I would recommend this newsletter.

This magazine is all about card making; with fun ideas, samples and suggestions.

The July 2008 issue boasts "103 hot projects for summer card making!" The cover also announces an article about "Cards gone Wild!", Ink Essentials, Celebrate Summer!", and Postcards that rule. Feature articles in the July issue also included: "Card Calendars", "Stars and Stripes Forever", "Summertime Fun" and "Christmas in July." The articles and samples with were charming and fun. The work is lighthearted and despite the abundance of exclamation marks, the magazine doesn't go over the top on the topics covered.

I have found American Patchwork and Quilting to be among the best in quilting magazines. I love every issue. The articles are informative and the patterns are simply wonderful. Not every issue will please every reader, but this one comes close.

I have bought all issues of Rock & Gem since I discovered it a year and a half ago. It features lots of pictures, good articles, activities for the kids and ads are kept to a minimum.

Dance Magazine

I think this magazine is perfect for anyone who is serious about dance. It covers a lot of different types of dance like Ballet, Jazz, and Hip hop.The "advice for dancers" column is very helpful and the advertisements (for dance shoes, workshops, auditions, equipment, etc.) are useful rather than annoying. Therefore, I would recommend this magazine to anyone who loves to dance.

This is great 'magazine'. I put it in quotes because it is really a collection of the newest styles coming out so if you have the time to sew the patterns you are with the 'in-crowd'

I subscribe to several art magazines and this includes both fine arts & art instruction. I find that the the quartet of Southwest Art, American Art Collector, Art of the West and Southwest Art all complement each other. I have had a subscription to Southwest Art for five plus years and I also give a gift subscription to an artist friend of mind. While the magazine does showcases the 'traditional' western art there is a wide variety of art to enjoy.The 'traditional' western art shown is of high quality and you will never be bored .It amazes me that once you leave the sanctimonious New York art world how many really good artists are out there using paint to create some beautiful and compelling works of art.
