Dick Berggrens Speedway Illustrated

NASCAR is covered here, but so are the little guys on the short tracks and dirt tracks. The guys doing it for the love, and not the money. Sure, the big dogs are covered, too, but so are tech tips, the finances, and history of racing.

From fantastic interviews to opinion pieces to columns by NASCAR's biggest names (which are usually the worst things in this magazine), this is a must-have for stock car fans and racing fans in general.

I've been a subscriber for years, and they have yet to miss an issue. Well worth the money, and definitely worth your time.

I was contemplating not renewing my subscription after 1 year...but I could not imagine not getting this very insightful look at BMW cars. I love that they look back on previous BMWs that have been restored or kept in great condition. Anytime there is any kind of Alpina I begin to drool, awesome photography and one of the best features of the zine is the Marketplace watch. If you have a BMW you owe it to yourself to own this magazine!

I have subscribed to this magazine in the past, and it has some good things going for it. It has some good bikes, some nudity (but not to the level of Penthouse or even Playboy) and a lot of good humor. If you are looking for a biker mag that looks and feels like it was written by and for bikers, and not a glossy fancy rag for the Dentist's office, this is the one you should look at. You'll probably have fun reading it, whether you admit it or not.

I give this as a gift to my Dad every year and it is his favorite magazine. He has a 65 GTO and there are always good articles on how to get the most out of his vehicle, whether that means simple repairs or new ways to increase the performance. There is also a marketplace section with lots of hard to find parts and accessories that has been very useful when you can't find a part online. Also, Amazon has the best price on this magazine that I was able to find.

I'm an old car collector. This magazine goes into the most depth of any of them. The writing is smooth, the scholarship is thorough and dead-on, and the supporting photography is often of a quality you can't find elsewhere.

heir in-depth articles cover the cars in question, but also the people behind them, and the in-fighting behind the people.

I don't always treasure every issue--I'm not much on cars built past about 1965, and they cover everything up to 20 years ago--but what for me is "the good stuff" is well worth the wait and price.

Mustang Monthly

Mustang Monthly contains something for every classic Mustang lover. From interior resotration and upgrades to Electrical system troubleshooting, this magazine contains tons of useful tips and tricks every month.

I've been a subscriber for less than a year, and I've already been able to replace brake lines, upgrade my rear end, and read about other Mustang projects to get ideas.

This is not a pure stock Mustang magazine. Rather, it is a nice mix of RESTOMOD and stock. I even read the ads.

Bottom line: If you're into classic Mustangs, this magazine is a must read.
