R/C Boat Modeler is the best out there. It is for everyone, from beginers to PROs. Great pics, articles, how to's and reviews. It was the first magazine of its kind and is still the best. Worth every cent!

Step By Step Beads

Step by step beads has never been my "favorite" out of all the beading magazines out there because you do not see the passion and creativity applied as in some of the other magazines. While reading the last couple of issues, I had to stop and look back at the cover a few times to remind myself which magazine I was reading. It seems that lately the projects are getting better and better, and I can't seem to put the magazine down. They are fun, imaginative, and getting more complex in design, which I like, than the have in the past. I hope the designers keep up with the new creativity that they have found. Now, I am looking forward to the new issues to arrive each time.

Flying Models

I like to fly C/L planes (stunt, combat, and sport), R/C power airplanes, R/C gliders, and R/C helicopters. I also teach the kids at a local children's home to build and fly model planes and amateur rockets, and am an FAA licensed airplane and helicopter pilot.

In my opinion, Flying Models is the best overall model airplane magazine! It is the only one that covers all types of model planes. Model Aviation magazine is mostly R/C, and occasionally covers some C/L, but not enough. I subscribe to several model airplane magazines, but I enjoy Flying Models the most.

This magazine is one of my all time favorites! With each issue, I am inspired to try something new, dig out an older project and finish it, or design something totally original! Creative Needle is a must-have magazine for anyone who enjoys smocking, embroidery, fine linens, and perfect finishing touches. Though it is mostly girl's dresses, it also provides patterns and inspirations for womenswear, gifts, and home decor. Each issue comes with full size pull-out patterns. Well worth the subscription price!!

As a subscriber to several flower related magazines from across the world I consider this magazine a valuable and interesting read, and one which I would certainly recommend investing in. The Flower Arranger often showcases designs which are `fairly traditional' and perhaps `contrived.', but these are interspersed with other more 'of the moment' design ideas, and numerous other interesting articles about all kinds of related subjects. There are all kinds of foibles and controversies in this very emotive and personal industry/pastime. For example, I believe the term 'contemporary' is sometimes confusing and always changing - as often there is nothing more appropriate than a simple collection of materials displayed in an appropriate setting yet ... I love this magazine. While the subscription price seems costly, using only one pattern from each issue makes it worth while. The patterns are very well cut, the styles wonderful. There are patterns patterns for beginners to advanced sewers.
