The Wilson Quarterly is probably my favorite publication. Few others are as fascinating; its diversity and intellectualism make most other magazines pale in comparison. Simply extraordinary.

Dell Pocket Crossword Puzzles

I love this Crossword Puzzel Magazine because it has TV Shows and Movies plus other questions. I enjoy the puzzels that are two pages, one page for questions and the other page for the puzzel. I will keep my subscripton for a long time. I recently found out that my other Favorite Crossword Magazine is No Longer available, was cancelled Movies & TV by Penny Press. I like Dell Crossword Puzzels because they are easier to slove, then Penny Press Crossword magazines.

I have been buying this mag since its inception, I have saved many of the issues because the info has been extremely helpful for my guitar playing and being able to read about the pros that i listen to , how they write, play,what they use for equipment has been intertaining and informative. they have recently made changes in format and writing mostly for the better.I espeally apreceate their having more on song writing. as far as i'm concerned this is the best guitar mag out there and i'm a guitar magazine junky enjoy. when I buy a book on Amazon, I usually get it in a week----
but when I subscribe to a magazine like this, it takes
SIX WEEKS to get the first issue . . . what is it, they
don't have COMPUTERS at these stupid magazines????

Alfred Hitchcock Mystery Magazine

When it comes the the unusual, the more literary and the suspenseful, it's Hitchcock for me! The magazine allows for stories with the supernatural - and that tends to keep the reader guessing until the end, as opposed to the typical cop/detective/sleuth tales in EQ. I love the often-moody atmosphere and the scene-building in Hitchcock.

ok... so i just got my first copy of EM... and i was rather disappointed. I currently get Computer Music and have had Sound on Sound. both cover all the topics they had allot better. in terms of electronic stuff, they just didnt do what computer music does. i mean they seemed to like hardware allot and Logic allot. which is fine, but if i wanted to read about hardware I would read more Sound on Sound or Future Music. reading about logic is great if you have a Mac. but I dont... so really i guess im just spoiled by the tutorials and videos and samples in Computer Music. granted EM was 20 bucks for the year. but I definitely feel that I wont look at it more then one time sitting on the john.

Sci-Fi

I have always wondered about the magazine but never read one until recently. I loved the articles and was surprized by the fact there is more than Sci Fi & Fantasy listed in this magazine. It was nice having a preview of TV shows I watch (although some of the material had already aired prior to the magazine coming out). I have even picked up a couple of books from the reviews in the magazine (and I am not a big Sci Fi/Fantasy book reader). I wish I had subscribed long ago.

Circle It Jumbo

I subscribed to this for an elderly grandmother for Christmas. Order placed in November and 1st issue arrived in February. It is not in jumbo print nor is it any bigger than the books I get in the Dollar stores and they are less than half the price of this one. I would hardly consider it a "double issue". Not a deal!

I have bought all issues of Rock & Gem since I discovered it a year and a half ago. It features lots of pictures, good articles, activities for the kids and ads are kept to a minimum.
