As a native of the Midwest, I find living in Pennsylvania to be a little bit of an adjustment. Midwest Living keeps me informed of all the events should we travel that way (which we do fairly often), and I love the articles!
I don't want to be too wordy, so I'll just leave this review with a few reasons why I love BUST. First, I find it an uplifting and supportive magazine with articles that don't condemn conservative women with liberal political heretics. The magazine is more focused on creating a female support network than to aimlessly attack our patriarchal society. In that way, I actually find it a more effective means of literature in promoting female empowerment and feminism! Yee-haw!
I absolutely LOVE this magazine...beautiful, inspiring and even contains tons of how-to's and patterns in the back! I even bought a French dictionary to teach myself how to read French because of this magazine! And i could never find it in a store so I ordered a subscription..sometimes it's a little late, but it has always arrived and is so worth the wait...

For a publication that covers many different levels of dressage, it appeals to just about anyone interested in the pursuit. No one should forget the basics, and even the lower level riders enjoy reading more advanced information, it shows us where we are going! Who's who, show news, technical info, and fun to read stuff that has an appeal to all equestrians interested in improving their riding.

In light of the recent release of Slam's 100th issue, I feel the need to review the best basketball magazine out there. I can't imagine a single basketball fan not liking Slam. Slam brings out the rawness and grit of basketball. This magazine has everything a basketball fan could want: it covers the NBA, NCAA, and even high school basketball, and also includes female ballers as well. The articles are well written, and the photos are always nice. Slam brings you future stars first. No one can deny that Slam was really the first magazine to exploit Lebron James and give him press coverage. They are also covering future stars like Greg Oden and OJ Mayo. So when they become stars, remember that Slam was there from the start. That's what makes the mag ... Read More:

Ski is ok. Thats about all I can say. If you are a millionaire and can afford to have an architect build you a ski cabin overlooking some grand valley then this magazine is for you. Its really rather superficial, covering architecture, ski resorts, nightlife, dining etc. If you are planning a multi-thousand dollar ski getaway pick this up. If you are spending the day looking out your window looking for flakes don't bother.

I subscribed to Muscle and Fitness Hers and really enjoyed a weighlifting magazine geared toward women. When they discontinued it was with the promise we'd get plenty of articles of our own in Muscle and Fitness. But this magazine has turned into one large ad. The articles are still useful, but there are too many ads now and not enough tips and advice for women bodybuilders.

Disney and Me is a fun magazine for toddlers and up, but the magazine features Disney characters, and not just Winnie the Pooh. In one issue for example, characters from Cars, Meet the Robinsons, Finding Nemo, Handy Manny & Winnie the Pooh were featured, and the number of pages devoted to the characters also vary.
I would recommend this magazine only if your child was really into the Disney characters [my daughter loves Finding Nemo]...the activities are fun enough but there are other magazines out there like Highlights, Baby Bug, Ladybug & Cricket magazine that are more substantial in terms of educational content. This magazine rates better in terms of entertainment & fun.
