This is one magazine that I read cover to cover. The articles are great and the recipes are actually ones that ordinary folk can use. No fancy ingredients, just good healthy foods and easy to prepare. The photos are a major plus. If you love to cook and want to eat healthy, this is the magazine for you.

I like this magazine. It's kind of pricey and has far too many ads, but.....all in all it's a pretty good magazine. I especially like the articles and pictures on real weddings.

I send this to my nephew every year as a gift and he shares with all of his friends. They really like to see this magazine come. You see, he and his friends are in prison and usually do not have current information on sports. So this is a blessing to all of them!

I have bought Southern Living Magazines for years but there is a irritating trend in all magazine publications and Southern Living is no exception. Most articles are one page, really less. With photos and ads, most are 4 paragraphs or less. Its like the American Public is all ADHA and the publishers think we can't concentrate any longer than that. If I take the time to look at each page of the magazine, then I won't mind spending 5 more minutes reading a little depth to an article that catches my attention. I can now go through an entire Southern Living in less than 30 minutes. Is this worth my money?
I'm a big fashion magazine fan - having subscribed to magazines like InStyle, Lucky, Harper's Bazaar, Vogue and Elle in the past several years.
People Stylewatch - in addition to Instyle - is one of my favorites. It's a rather thin magazine, but what you get is lots of good, useful content that is similar to InStyle (minus the gobs of advertisements). Stylewatch appeals to the readers of People magazine (which, I admit, I do not read) and fashionistas who enjoy reading up on fashion, trends and celebrities. What I like about Stylewatch is that it doesn't waste your time with pages of ads, editorials or articles. It gives you pictures, pictures, and more pictures as well as a good look at current and upcoming trends and some great ... Read More:
I was thinking about purchasing a subscription to Penthouse magazine because my fiance didn't object to the idea. Penthouse was the first "dirty" magazine I purchased when I turned 18 back in 2002. I was very pleased with the content, mostly pictorially, when compared to the much tamer fair of the Playboys I had hidden in a box in my room.
By the time I entered college, I had six issues of Penthouse. I had also discovered that 90% of the internet (which I hadn't had access to until I went to college) was comprised of pornographic websites, and that you could get a lot of the content for free (especially just women showing their private parts). I gave three of the issues to a friend (who's girlfriend blocked porn on his computer) and ... Read More:

For the last 8 years or so, I have collected editions of Instyle. I never meant to start collecting it, but it's the kind of magazine I can't throw away because of all the gorgeous photos and quality of this publication. They show the insides of celeb homes (even though they move on a whim and these houses probably have new owners) and fashions and beauty tips etc. It's honestly the only magazine I do buy. I love all the event pictures they show that I've not seen in other mags. It's a complete mix of other peoples styles and information about how to create your own personal style. They interview various people and also have a great segment each month called Man Of Style - to see what the hottest guys in Hollywood are wearing etc.

I was given HEALTH magazine as a gift, and have enjoyed six months worth at the present time. I'm a 40 something, formerly fit mother who still believes in herself enough to know that someday...I can be 'fit' again. This magazine seems right up my alley. It addresses common health issues with clear, short articles and yet isn't packed with ads so that the articles get lost. Some recipes, some exercises, some discussions, while remaining entertaining too.
You would be wasting your money if you are already fitness oriented and off to the gym to meet your trainer, but if you are in need of an encouraging, helpful, entertaining read that will inspire versus guilt you into getting healthier, this magazine is for you.

Yankee magazine is a magazine that's over brimming with nostalgia.
Everything is New England quaint. I even like the advertisements of handmade jewelry and furniture.
The recipes are good. I really love the section that highlights a specific area or town and the most scenic routes. I like the pictures of houses and gardening and the regular columnist who identifies antiques.
I am feeling like a Maineiac ever since reading a description of a clock in someones' review.
You'll get a lot out of this magazine. Not one page goes to waste with me. I enjoy it from cover to cover.
