Peace on Earth

This is seriously one of the best Christmas albums that I have heard in a while. It is more low tempo than much of the previous music by Casting Crowns, so I think it may even appeal to some people who are not fans of their other music. My mom grew up listening to music like Karen Carpenter, but she also thinks that this is a good album. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a decent Christmas album.

P.S., I was very pleased to see that this album includes another version of the song "While You Were Sleeping". I consider that one to be the best Casting Crowns song ever.

I listen to this CD all the time. The beautiful spiritual songs are heart touching. I do not get tired of hearing them. The words are so beautiful; especially Praise You in This Storm. It was the perfect CD for what I am going through. I would not only reccomend this CD to those who are having troubles and need comfort but to anyone who wishes too get closer to the Lord.

this is a beautiful CD. I have listened to it over and over and over, can't get enough. Not like some CD's that you only like one song on, this one is great from start to finish.

The Altar and the Door Live

Not only did I get this video, but I managed to attend one of the concerts on that tour (Indianapolis - about a month after this was filmed). Both were excellent!!! I have no complaints of what is on the video, although there were some things in the concert that were left out - most notably the song 'The Alter and the Door' which Casting Crowns opened the concert I was at with. However, everything on this dvd/cd is excellent and I highly recommend it to anyone who likes Christian music.

Although that one aspect leaves room for improvement, I highly recommend this as well as all their other products. I especially love that their live dvd's (this one as well as Live from Atlanta and Lifesong Live) come with cd's of it as well, because ... Read More:

Casting Crowns Gift Edition (W/Dvd)

At the risk of getting a "not helpful" rating, I am not going to actually review the entire album, which has been done countless times on the regular album. Suffice to say it's one of the best Christian albums I've ever heard.

What I wanted to say that the DVD on this edition overlaps the Casting Crowns, Live From Atlanta DVD. There is only one new clip on this DVD, which is called "The Casting Crowns Story." It's about five minutes long. It's interesting and it's also why I bought this edition of the album instead of the regular one, even though I already had the live CD. So just FYI, if you already have the live CD and the album...you may not want this. For what it's worth.

Well what can i say, Casting crowns first time i heard them was on the soundtrack to Facing the Giants, and then i was hooked. Great band even live they sing really will, great cd go out and buy it

This is a CD that you'll put in and not skip a track. I bought this CD for everyone I know and they all love it. I'm also a singer and I have most of the accompaniment tracks for the songs. Great outreach tool for young people as well as folks my own age (40s). ;)
