I might not know much of Franco De Vita, but I know good music when I listen to it:

3) Si La Ves(w/ Sin Bandera) is a song with two of today's great latin voices.

5) To De Que Vas - is one of the greatest latin slow jams of this generation.

8) Donde esta el amor - the strings on this song stand out.

If you have a date tonight, please play this cd for a VERY good night.

Bueno que puedo decir de Franco, Mi compositor favorito en especial con la cancion Vuelve que es la que le ha traido exito a Ricky Martin y la de Te Amo. En este disco nuevo vuelve a tener exito y espero que siga asi por muchos años este fin se semana es su Concierto aqui en Puerto Rico, alli estare nuevamente... Que siga con su Exito!

This is the second greatest hits disc that Sony has released on Franco De Vita, and, like the first one, it's not hard to explain why it exists: It will sell, just as anything with Franco's name on it will sell. And, like the other disc, there's no faulting the material. De Vita is a superb talent, able to mix elements of pop, rock and jazz like no one else. Combine that with his evocative lyrics and it's obvious why he's one of the best-loved, most respected performers on the Latin scene today. But this is the exact same disc that Sony released last year under the name "20th Anniversary," just with new cover art, new packaging, and a new title to trick the unsuspecting. Franco de Vita has been my very favorite singer and composer ever. My first boyfriend gave me as a present for my birthday Franco's first album, and I have followed his career ever since. Unlike other singers, he's never disappointed me. His songs are thoughtful, moving, very powerful and sensitive at the same time.

This album features lot of his classic hits and some of the newer ones like "Ay Dios", "Tu de que vas", "Te veo venir soledad", it's simply fabulous! It also includes a surprise DVD with Franco's live concert in Caracas, which to me, it's the best part of the deal, not only because I was not expecting it but also because his performance is inspiring and his spontaneity is contagious.
