I have never been disappointed with the sound of Il Divo. And their renditions of these Christmas songs is absolutely beautiful. But ... "Over the Rainbow"??? There are only 10 songs on this CD to begin with. You mean they could not come up with one more Christmas song to include here instead of "Over the Rainbow"? A little miffed at that, so I gave this magnificent CD 4 stars instead of 5.

I Love this new CD, I like all the songs, specially the Hallelujah, and the DVD is a great plus. I can't wait to see them live.
I will always be a huge Il Divo Fan :)

I ordered this CD with high expectations. On its arrival, I eagerly played it, waiting for the glorious music I'd heard described. I was puzzled as I listened, trying to place the reason for my growing dislike. I loved the voices of the singers, I liked the genre of the songs...but was still left unsatisfied. Ultimately I realized that my displeasure was with the mismatching, almost discordant nature of the men's beautiful voices contrasted against the soundtrack that accompanied them. The accompaniment sounds like a cheap synthesizer with a little extra added in. The music should highlight and accentuate their voices, not sound like an afterthought that just distracts (a lot!)from the overall experience of the music. Though my 9yo daughter ... Read More:

This is the BEST Christmas CD I have ever listened to. Il Divo is an amazing combination of brilliant sound, heart felt emotion, and charisma packed into four perfect men. A true joy to listen to any time of year, but especially during the Holiday Season.

Martha Stewart Living Music: Classical Favorites for the Holidays

I purchased this CD on iTunes and I love it. Martha's CD collection is very tasteful and the music is great background music. I'm not a big fan of Christmas music sung by pop stars, and so I avoid most modern releases, but this CD is all classical. Particularly love the song sung by II Divo and Placido Domingo. This is a classical album sure to please everyone.

When I played it in my car my I got compliments on it. Way to go Martha!!!
