Appeal to Reason [Ecopack]

It isn't as hard as their previous releases. If you loved mosh anthems such as State of the Union or Bricks you may be disappointed. BUT....(and its a big BUT), the song Hero of War (love that song!!!!) on this CD saves it. Even though its acoustic and slow, the lyrics are as hardcore as ever and shows that Rise Against are still themselves, just trying to reach a larger audience. If your a continuing fan or new to Rise, i highly recommend this CD, its not their best but its still better than most of the other new music out right now.

This CD is awesome. I had it playing on repeat over and over for a few weeks. It's still in my cd changer, but their new cd, Appeal to Reason is now getting most of the playtime.

Siren Song of the Counter Culture

Blood To Bleed!!! That songs is one of my favorite ever! Its such a great album, i have both this and the suffer & the witness and i rotate both CD's in my car, i've been listening to both for over 6months now! have not listen to any other albums since! Rise Against just gives you such a energy/adrenaline that makes you wanna scream and get up and jump! This is my favorite band of all time and this is one of 2 best albums you've ever listen from them. If you have either this or suffer & the witness u must have the other!

Revolutions Per Minute

Two words: amazing album. This is one of the most powerful collections of songs out there. From lyric gems such as "Like the Angel" to incredible guitar in "Torches," Rise Against's "Revolutions Per Minute" simply delivers. A fantastic album with unforgettable tracks.

The Unraveling

This is a very energetic and enjoyable album. The mixture of melodic hardcore/punk could easily fail in the hands of unskilled musicians, but Rise Against pull it off well. The songs are catchy without being cheesy, intense without being overwhelming. They're also relatively short and don't overstay their welcome. The one real criticism I have is that melodies seem a bit recycled at times (think "401 Kill" and "1000 Good Intentions," where the choruses could easily be switched). Not perfect, but a strong debut.

This Is Noise

CD is too short for the money. Rise Against is still one of the best bands in the hardcore/punk rock scene. Can't wait for the next full lenght. If your a die hard Rise Against fan, this CD is for you. If you are a casual listener, skip on this.

Definitely worth the money for this Clean Rise Against CD!

Fast Paced Rock Music! Defintely Keep you awake on a long trip!

All the songs are good, only one ballad but it is really pretty.

The vocalist is great and drummer is really talented; they both work well together!

Love the lyrics, one of them: ..we've all been sorry, we've all been hurt, but how we survive it's what makes us who we are...
