Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band

... but I only gave it 4 stars because Paul died before this album was finished. Had Paul (not Faul) been involved in the making of this classic album, it would've been even crazier.

Still... beautiful album by the 3 remaining Beatles. Highly recommended.

Abbey Road

Love most of the album then and now. Didn't really understand, though, how much coulda been used elsewhere (like the "White Album"), and how much - not alot - came from other places: Come Together with its' Chuck Berry reference really driving the whole thing; Something, impossible without James Taylor's classic; Oh Darling, yet another Little Richard tribute while Richard was without a recording contract.
Some other curiosities: Mean Mr. Mustard & Maxwell's Silver Hammer (c'mon Paul!); I Want You (She's So Heavy) - a nice soundtrack for a bad Buster Crabbe pirate movie.
Which leaves up with the gems: above mentioned classic A and B side; Here Comes The Sun, You Never Give Me Your Money, Because.

Great to hear the Beatles again. In these days of on-line download purchases of individual songs for I-Pods, picking up an real "old fashioned" album is a real treat. Wonderfully nostalgic.

This review is written by Mr. Bradberry's students:
The beatles' number one hits was a great album that they have put out. I think it was a great compilation of there hits. They put it together and had it sold in stores and they had there fan base grow 10 fold. But some of there songs that are on the album should not be on there and they also could have made it into a two disc set. The songs may be scatterd into many of there Cd's but they all came together in one great compilation and as you all can tell i give a five out of five.

If fans truly love the beatles they should buy this cd, and be prepared for a revival of beatlemania. unlike today's boy band the beatles actually wrote their music.

If The Beatles had ended their career with the album "Help", they would still remain the best pop and rock band of all time. But that was not meant to be. God wanted more. It was Thursday and God still had one more working day. I was amazed, astonished and stunned with God's creations on the first five days of the week. It was too much to me. Let It Be

This was the last Beatles album that you could buy if you bought them all sequentially. This was the first Beatles album that I bought as it was released because I was 11 years old at the time. I love them all and I love The Beatles more than any other musicians and this is still my favorite from them. Sure, they revolutionized what could be done in a studio, but this is essentially a "Live" album by the greatest rock and roll band there ever was. They had already announced their breakup by the time this hit the record stores, so we all knew that this was it.
Every song is up there amongst my favorite Beatles tracks, not considering Maggie May or Dig It of course, but I love them also. Just Great music...

A Hard Day's Night

I have listened to every Beatles album over and over and over again. I have had times where each of the albums have been my favorite and where each album I have been sick of. I have endlessly played and replayed passages from nearly all the songs to grok on what makes them tick.

After such a thorough "wringing out" of each album, it is my opinion that a Hard Day's Night is the greatest Beatle album in that it had the greatest intensity of creativity in the shortest time span. It was an blindingly awesome roman candle of musical output. Any one of the songs on this album could've been a crown jewel for any band or artist; any of these tunes had the potential to be the one hit that could make their career, if properly arranged and promoted.
