Boz Scaggs, with the sole exception of the incomparable Van Morrison, is our greatest singer today. This CD validates his artistic vision and accentuates his relaxed smooth style.

Not a filler nor throwaway cut on this release, each is a genuine treasure. It's all-but guaranteed that you'll start on the first track and listen to the end. Then begin the process once more. You cannot get fatigued. I flew coast-to-coast last week, listening to this CD through noise-canceling headphones non-stop.

Fantastic! Each CD is better than the previous. I can't wait for his next CD. I love "Lost", "Everything" the best. Actually love ALL the songs. Michael is a total class act. Attended concert recently and he also has a fantastic personality. Love you Michael!

Ever since I read a synopsis of her life and music career in the newspaper a year ago, I was intrigued. I went to see her in a small local theater, and since then I was hooked. She mixes African and Spanish rythms with jazz and Latin beats to create an amazing sound. Her voice is captivating and penetrating. She portrays herself through her music.

'Rambling Boy' is a marvelous compilation of authentic, front-porch Americana. I love country and hear my share of Bluegrass. If you're a fan of groups such as Charlie Haden, as I am, this will show you what their predecessors sounded like. True roots music. The recording is great, as well. Nary a hiss or pop, which is quite remarkable for recordings of this era. The engineers obviously embarked on a labor of love. The songs and the singers are first rate- this is a sing along CD- grab it and bring it with you- warning: it may cause foot tapping and hand clapping.

This is not only the perfect musical accompaniment for the holidays (i.e. day after Thanksgiving through New Year's Day), it's a fabulous jazz piano album that you can listen throughout the year. One of my all time favorite recordings, period.

all the best of Frank, at least main stream Frank. No real early stuff, and no real late stuff. Productions have been cleaned and beefed up and balanced. Great booklet inside with lots of historical info. Also comes with a first edition "Frank" stamp from Las Vegas P.O. There have been many compilations, but none in one disc that is this complete and sound is up to today's standards. Some digital preciseness, but mostly just Frank et al as if he recorded today! A must for all fans and casual fans. If someone does not know why he was the Chairman of the Board, or hasn't really listened to Frank and orchestra with a great sound sys and some volume, give this a listen and you will be convinced.
