Honestly, out of all the covers Christmas songs get, I've yet to find anyone as consistant and perfect for the job as miss Amy Grant. My family has kept her christmas CDs in heavy rotation all season long for years it seems, and they always sound fresh, they always bring the warmth and jolly of the time, and the reminder of the nativity.

I would recommend buying all her Christmas albums (i'm not sure how many there are) but if you'd rather hit the highlights then this one definately does the job. There's only a few tracks I would have liked to see make the cut, but for the most part these are the best. I love "count your blessings instead of sheep" i wish more people sang that song, it's brilliant.

Peace on Earth

This is seriously one of the best Christmas albums that I have heard in a while. It is more low tempo than much of the previous music by Casting Crowns, so I think it may even appeal to some people who are not fans of their other music. My mom grew up listening to music like Karen Carpenter, but she also thinks that this is a good album. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a decent Christmas album.

P.S., I was very pleased to see that this album includes another version of the song "While You Were Sleeping". I consider that one to be the best Casting Crowns song ever.

I picked this up after hearing the title song many times and attending a grand opening at a christian bookstore. I can't quit listening to it. It is SO worshipful and many of the songs make me want to get up and dance. Our youth group went crazy over tract 4!

Just when you think to yourself, how could these guys out do what they've already done, could they really get any better? Third Day has done just that! I love when a band is willing to reinvent themselves and take risks.
This new project is unquestionable Third Days best work spiritually, both in music and more so in lyrics. To be a christian and not have this cd in your collection of annointed songs to encourage and minister to you would be to miss out on such a blessing from God, and with Revelation i'm lead for God to show me what to do, because i've asked God to take it all!

I've been a Hez fan since his first album. I understand that in ministy you need to reach the masses however in the process of "reaching" don't lose yourself. There are some great songs on this album stand out songs for me was "O give Thanks", "There's no way" and "triumph" the songs I least like was "Moving forward" and "You're all i need"

The choir is still there. Máiréad is still there with her magic fiddle. But Hayley Westenra has disappeared. We miss her voice and her smile.

The Celtic Woman group is back to the original five girls: four vocalists (Chloë Agnew, Órla Fallon, Lisa Kelly and Méav Ní Mhaolchatha) and a wonderful creature, fallen from heaven for our outmost felicity. I wrote in my review of their "New Journey" (Amazon, February 4, 2007) that if Paradise exists, I picture it full of angels like Máiréad Nesbitt playing harp or violin!

Those who, like me, watch their second concert several times a year, will think that this third DVD is not quite as great as "A New Journey". But how better can you get after you have reached perfection?

I love this CD! Kurt will never let you down when it comes to creative and awesome vocals and arrangements. With anointed and powerful lead vocals such as Ms. Nakita Foxx, Ms. Timiney Caton, Ms. Nikki Potts and guest spots from others. I mean the ministry on this CD is for ME...and I know if I was blessed by it, many others will be as well. So many songs to hear that minister to the soul from "Grateful People Grateful Praise", "I Am The One" & my theme song "JUST THE BEGINNING"! A definite must have!!
