This album is one really fine song wrapped in the brown paper covering of the rest of the album. "Waiting for my real life to begin" is the greatness of Men at Work that we all knew and loved. Beyond that song, Colin Haye really needs to find a song writer...

This EP is great, don't get me wrong. But if you buy this EP expecting it to sound like Isn't Anything, or Loveless you're very much mistaken. This EP was released before MBV lost their minds (in a good way) and started playing around with the guitar sounds they would come to be known by. The songs are very well written, but they're more pop-rock and only shoegaze in spirit.

This single is a great part of the Nine Inch Nails collection. I would say after buying all the major releases of theirs get this and "fixed" first. Closer to god, is not just another remix of closer, but a whole new version of the song. A lot heavier I might add. the other remixes on the cd are very god, 1 even is almost like an acoustic version. Also the album has "memrobilia" a soft cell cover.

Smashing Pumpkins came during the grundge period but to label them in that genre is foolish. Corgan has love for many styles and this opal gives you a glimpse into his schizo persona... A MUST HAVE FOR PUMPKINHEADS!!! Each cd of a released track from mellon collie contains b-sides that follow (most of the time) the released single's theme. What he lacks in vocals- he makes up in melodies and fantastic guitar licks.

Perhaps a bit too many mixes from a few songs, which turned up to be a bit repetitive... However, if you liked Pretty Hate Machine, you may still enjoy this one as it sounds like a remix version of the album.

Maybe it could have been better just by adding a couple more songs or B-sides.

The smashing pumpkins have caught a lot of flack for the way Zeitgeist was released but i think the most disturbing thing was the photo of paris hilton on the cover of this single and inside the cd booklet. I get the point of the photo with the nuke going off in the back and i get it's Paris Hilton who embodies all the worse qualities a human can possess and she also emobidies the Zeitgeist better than any person, but the fact that she actually signed on to do this and the Pumpkins let her is just a bit disturbing. However, that being said. Why did I give this single 5 stars?

Both songs rock. Death from above should have made it to the album and Tarantula kicks butt. So as this is about the music i say it deserves a 5 star rating. However, ... Read More:

This is really not for everybody. Really, just get their two albums and you won't need this! Don't get me wrong, I am a huge Coldplay fan and Clocks and Yellow were some of the highlights of their career. But, if you have their two albums, you don't need to buy this. If you are getting into this great band, just buy Parachutes and A Rush. This is pretty much useless unless you want to complete your collection OR you want the live version of Yellow (which is good). That's all.

I'm so glad that I found this Eagles CD on Amazon, Please come home for Christmas & Funky New Year are great Christmas songs that the Eagles have done over the years, and they are also very nice songs to listen to each & every holiday season.

Well, you know Street Spirit. It's one of the best tracks from The Bends. The two bonus tracks here are also terrific. Bishop's Robes would fit well with the musical theme of Kid A or OK Computer, while Talk Show Host is almost like something on Amnesiac, which I suppose you'll just have to imagine since Amazon has no audio samples.
