Yawn. I think my grandma listens to this crap. Johnny Cash has no talent! He isn't played on MTV, BET or was never on American Idol. Why do you freaks listen to him? This music is soo old, too. REAL country is Carrie Underwood! She's a country music legend, not this old talentless buffoon.

If you don't know Emmylou Harris at all, buy anything she's ever done. The worst that you'll get is really good. This album is lovely, if low-key and sad. There is a strain of American music - the only authentic strain aside from Afro-American - embodied in country, folk and some rock based on the former two that is heart-piercing, but absolutely lovely. And Emmylou Harris - who defies labels - does it best of all (though her version of "Diamonds Are a Girl's Best Friend" - elsewhere - rocks with a kind of tough cynicism that the Broadway showtune never had.) Buy the 17-track version, just for the live Sugarland version of "Come On Get Higher," the vocal is maybe better than the Matt Nathanson original.

I listen to this CD over and over, the voice and the variety of styles make it always fresh.

Hank III's new CD is full of the stuff his fans love. He trashes the Country Music establishment, glorifies drinkin', calls the Devil his friend--and makes it all sound great with his tight country punk band. I thought his last CD, 2006's "Straight To Hell", was full of classic songs. Unfortunately, "Damn Right" doesn't quite measure up to "Straight To Hell"--for example, sometimes it seems like he is trying too hard to make the words fit the music. But it does have some great songs on it, and is certainly better than 2002's "Lovesick, Broke, and Driftin'". "Damn Right" doesn't break any new ground, but if you are already a fan, it won't disappoint.

I LOVE Sugarland and I think that this is the best album (CD) yet. I don't understand why they relegated the songs that they did to the deluxe fan edition. "Fall Into Me" is my favorite song of theirs so far, it is an awesome song and it should have been on the "regular" edition of the album. I also love "Very Last Country Song". I feel they are growing and improving as a duo and while stayng true to their roots, also branching out and becoming even more accessable to those who might think that they "don't like country music". Give them a try!

I got this for my dad for Father's Day to play in his truck, I knew it would bring back memories for him, I love Johnny Cash too and should have got 2 one for me...lol I guess I will get myself one later. This CD has 30 songs and is a true must have for Cash fans.

This is a rare combination of quality and quantity. There are a lot of good songs, mostly because GL wrote and performed so well. Obviousy it is still a small fraction of the songs that he wrote in total, but I like the ones they included. Just from listening, the recordings all seem to be in a studio, so the quality is good.
