Back in the late 90's, we've seen a huge Latin explosion in the music industry. While there have been acts that have been more about hyppe, and less of heart and soul like Jennifer Lopez, who hasn't really been a credible singer lately, or Ricky Martin, who hasn't really made an English pop album in years who just made everyone say they were Livin' La Vida Loca so much, others made it because of their family bonds. That was the case with Enrique Iglesias. When I first learned of Chayanne's Vivo release I was really excited because this man delivers a performance that is in a league of its own and I knew that the DVD would totally ROCK! I was right!! I didn't expect the DVD to be able to match the electric passion felt at a live concert but I was pleasantly surprised, and dare I say "electrified!" by the masterful way in which this show conveys all the magic of seeing Chayanne in person. The only thing missing is the smell!
