Lacrae's hard-hitting lyrics are strong enough to keep your attention, while the beats are just as tight as 106 and Park's top 10. The CD offers a variety of songs that discuss a plethora of topics so it's just not a spun "get your life right" sermon every track. For example, "The Bride" covers the controversial history of the church, and it's role in American society. Other subjects covered are, religious persecution in China, the media, and alcohol abuse.
I did not like Gospel music before I heard this CD.
I borrowed this CD from a friend and ripped the tracks onto my computer. But after I listened to it, I loved it so much, I went and bought the CD.

I don't care what anyone say this CD Portable Sounds is a good CD. I saw TobyMac and a group called Hostyle Gospel and now I love Christian music. Thank You guys for doing your thing that day!!

I bought the first 21:03 cd for my son who absolutely loved it. When the news of the second release (Total Attention) was announced, my fourteen year-old son couldn't wait to buy it. We were vacationing in D.C. when it came out. My son had our family stop by the store on the way back from visiting the Arlington Cemetary to buy the CD. We listened to it all the way back to South Carolina, and I have to say it is awesome!!! I can listen to it all day. I have "You" as my ringtone. I highly recommend this CD.

Sick album, but what do you expect? Beats are sick, lyrics are true to the Gospel. I love the concept. Milk to meat!!! Let's chop it up!

Jesus Time!!!!!!!!! This boy got words!!!!! This CD is Crazy good. I bought this CD and Hostyle Gospel CD and Now I'm in love with Christian Hip Hop.

Our World: Redeemed

I enjoyed this CD, although, I don't think it is quite as good as Our World: Redeemed. It just seems a little bit slower.

One of the things I really like about Flame is he doesn't water down the truth. It's like listening to a preacher rap a sermon to you.

I bought this CD for a friend of mine who is a missionary to West Africa. I hope it has blessed her. I was truly blessed by this CD and I'll say that it still sounds fresh, as if it was released last year and not in the 90's. That's the coolest thing about Jesus Freak, you can be a new listener and it doesn't feel out of touch.
