At less than $30, this has to be one of the greatest bargains currently out there. For many lovers of Chopin and piano playing, Rubinstein's late 1950s/early 1960s RCA survey is the Bible. Undoubtedly, it contains some godly Chopin playing. However, there is too much unevenness and lack of drama for this cycle to live up to its reference status.

Indeed, this is a Chopin Collection and not a complete survey, missing the Etudes, Rondos, Variations, early Polonaises, First Sonata, concert fantasies, chamber music as well as some miscellaneous pieces--most notably the Op post Nocturnes, Mazurkas, Waltzes and Prelude, plus the Op 45 Prelude and Allegro de concert. Barbie Sings!: The Princess Movie Song Collection

My girls have watched most of the Barbie movies and really enjoyed them. Now the CD has been a hit in the house among all of us. My 6-y/o has also learned to read the words out of the jacket and sing along!!

This CD is good for working out. I like all the songs and it is very easy to get into it. Some of the songs are unfamiliar, but with the upbeat music it doesn't matter.

This is a great CD to have in your MP3 collection for running. Was at PI in 1994 - 1st Bt. D Co. (Plt 1161) and this is the real deal. I have all 3 volumes, all are great!

Cardio Workout

I copied this workout to my Ipod and use it to keep me motivated on the eliptical at the gym. While the selections aren't by the original artists, of course, the beat keeps you moving and your heart rate up. I liked that the music started with a 'warm-up', slightly less energetic beat, and then got faster.

As a former Marine, I endorse this motivating, dedicating, memory making album from #1 to #34. Brings back so many memories. This album motivates me to keep running strong! "1 mile, no way. 2 mile, no sweat. 3 mile, getting there. 4 mile, ooh rah! 5 mile, oh yeah!! PAIN! In my side - I don't care, I like it there..." LOL

Only aspect I don't care for is the beat in the background - some synthesizer or something running drums to keep the beat or something. NOT needed! The Marines do JUST FINE running the cadence and keeping time.

OOH RAH, Semper fidelis!

Fun to run with. Keeps a good cadence except for transitions in between songs. If resorts back to the ranger song every time. That part gets old but the rest of the CD is awesome.

I am a huge fan of David Arkenstone...all of his music is great. This CD is especially relaxing while at work, or at the end of the day to unwind from pressures/stress. A nice supplement to the many CDs of his that I already have.
