I had always been a fan of David Foster's music, and it was a fantastic surprise to see many of his most wonderful songs in one DVD, performed by several of today's top artists. You will not be using the "FF" button on your remote control with this DVD. However talented Charice is (and she is indeed very talented), the highlight of this DVD are Andrea Bocelli's performances. The Italian tenor is in a league of his own, his voice and emotion second to none, and in this set, he sings three songs that highlight his immense qualities: "Amapola", "Because we believe", and an incredible version (maybe the best) of "The Prayer". NOTE: The Deluxe edition has a bonus DVD with a 24 minute "Making Of" special that is well worth the extra cost. At Target Stores, there is an additional/exclusive 20 minute segment on the DVD called "Live In Concert", that turns out to be a new performance with the Count Basie Orchestra and pianist Monty Alexander of several tunes from this album! (My Favorite Things, I'll Be Home For Christmas, Santa Claus Is Coming To Town, O Christmas Tree, Winter Wonderland, and Silver Bells)

Fantastic! Each CD is better than the previous. I can't wait for his next CD. I love "Lost", "Everything" the best. Actually love ALL the songs. Michael is a total class act. Attended concert recently and he also has a fantastic personality. Love you Michael!

I like Trans-Siberian Orchestra. Their first CD (CHRISTMAS EVE AND OTHER STORIES) is easily one of my top ten favorite Christmas albums. (Maybe even top five.) Two years ago, my wife and I had the pleasure of seeing them in a sold-out concert performance in Houston. And I hope they continue to make great Christmas music in the future, although I've heard that LOST CHRISTMAS EVE will be their final venture into the Christmas music arena.

LOST CHRISTMAS EVE will not disappoint anyone who loves hard rock instrumental. It will, in fact, disappoint only a few Christmas music enthusiasts who enjoy a wide variety of Christmas music; and anyone who does is probably already a TSO fan to some degree. all the best of Frank, at least main stream Frank. No real early stuff, and no real late stuff. Productions have been cleaned and beefed up and balanced. Great booklet inside with lots of historical info. Also comes with a first edition "Frank" stamp from Las Vegas P.O. There have been many compilations, but none in one disc that is this complete and sound is up to today's standards. Some digital preciseness, but mostly just Frank et al as if he recorded today! A must for all fans and casual fans. If someone does not know why he was the Chairman of the Board, or hasn't really listened to Frank and orchestra with a great sound sys and some volume, give this a listen and you will be convinced. I am a rock and jazz fan and I adore Frank and the sound and song ... Read More:
