As with every product, there's good and bad aspects. The very good is this is 12 brand new winter songs--not retreads of the same old traditionals, which seem to be the fodder of most of the Christmas offerings. And a neat dozen songs timing out at 44.9 minutes, which is more than a lot of new albums offer nowadays.

The music is the ethereal atmospheric tone you have come to expect from Enya. If you like this type of music, you are going to love the CD.

Journey of the Angels

I would like to see Enya grow and add some different instruments and musical styles to her repertoire, but honestly, for what it is, the CD is very good.

Twilight Soundtrack

I don't own this CD, but I listened to the samples. I was expecting a soundtrack like the soundtrack to "Romeo and Juliet" with Leonardo Di Caprio in it. That is the music I would picture with Twilight.

Wow, this is an actual album, not some slap and dash production. I won't give it 5 stars because people are just too generous with their ratings. I have to say this is really good. The song quality is much better than other Idol winners first albums. I think this winner is a true songwriter. I love some other Idol winners but some of them are learning how to write music. It means so much more when the performer has a personal connection with the lyrics, as this winner seems to. I love both Davids but they are just very different types of music. I will be asking for both Davids this holiday season but it's this David I will be opening first.

I won't claim to be an expert on Il Divo. I had not heard of them before getting this CD, but I'm glad to make their acquaintance. I'd describe them as somewhat of a cross between opera (think Pavarotti) and Josh Groban. The album contains songs you'll recognize (Amazing Grace, Adagio), and some that you won't, but they're all by turns soothing, stirring, and easy to listen to. I wondered about the Abba song on the album (The Winner Takes it All), but when I mentioned to my 9- and 11-year olds that a "Mamma Mia" song was playing, they said they didn't even recognize it. It just works. All songs are sung in Italian or Spanish, except for Amazing Grace. This is nice, because it allowed me to just drink in the beauty of the music without trying to concentrate ... This CD is absolutely FANTASTIC. He was my favorite on AI throughout the entire season. He is so extremely talented and I just love his voice! The songs suit him perfectly and please do not compare him to David Cook; they have two totally different styles. This is a must-have album for pop music and AI fans! He's right up there with the talent of Clarkson, Underwood, and Daughtry!

thats how you say it ala poltergeist (great flick0 and she is pissed. She is Alecia aka Pink!! i cant think of a bettr cd this year next to katy (i kissed a girl" Perry! As you may know (oh, you dont)? Pink and Corey couldnt make it work and got divorced.Now a lot of you feel that if a woman is divorce she cant remarry because it is sin (as in the Bible) Well, if thats so Pink and i want you to talk to the hand or better yet It's just you and your hand tonight (Pink's way of saying talk to teh hand)! Now for songs, people. The songs are great. So What makes you want to get out on the dance floor and be obnoxious and pump your fist!! WOW what a great album. There is not one track on this album that I don't like. It is a must buy. The first track pulls you in and the rest holds you there. I love when an album doesn't sound the same song to song. Great album. If your a Nickelback fan a must buy. New to Nickelback great place to start.

Can't wait to see them on tour.

I say Nickel you say -- their back!!!!!!!!!!

I AM one of those people who look forward to Taylor's new releases. But this one just didn't do it for me. He's done a great job with covers over the years, but with the exception on one track on this release, I thought he just didn't bring anything new to these.

I will never buy another Coldplay album without hearing it first. This is the best example of a "DBB" (download it before buying it) album. I can understand how a band should evolve and not repeat themselves. From The Beatles to Depeche Mode we have seen bands changing their style album after album but STILL each album is great. Tough I didn't expect another A Rush of Blood album I sure expected great melodies or complex arrangements. None of this is found here. Sure, "VIVA LA VIDA" is one of the greatest songs of this years and one of Coldplay's best, but do we have to go all through an album of dull "songs" just to have one or at the most 2 great songs??
