i find reviews very helpful when buying music, even though we all have our own taste...Anyways, i decided to buy this album, as i have no other BFMV albums, after hearing some of the songs on it and i absolutely love it! I am a "newer metal" music person, and this album fits that category for me, but still has the older metal influence. What an amazing band, and you will definately be please after getting this album! Every song on it is good! That makes a person happy when you buy an album and every song is good, how often does that happen? Well, there is maybe the slow one i don't care too much for, but every metal band has a ballad...Anyways, buy it, if you like this band!!! It is well worth it!!

Probably the only rap-metal album that honestly qualifies as any good, and definitely the most violently liberal album I've ever heard in my life. Not like I mind, of course. But if you don't agree with the politics, it'll probably hurt your enjoyment of the album. Enough of that, though. The point is that this band is awesome. Especially guitarist Tom Mollero, who comes up with brilliant riffs throughout and throws in all kinds of innovative, crazy solos that don't sound like they're coming from a guitar. The solo on "Killing in the Name" sounds like it could've came from a synthesizer, for instance. The stuff he pulls on "Take the Power Back" sounds like turntable work or something, his solo on "Bullet in the Head" seems a lot like a clavinet, and the ... Read More:

This CD is really awesome and I like it every song on this CD is a really good song and it's Just an awesome CD I really like this album and there not a bad group at all I mean there other albums are probably really good but this one is one of the best CD's that they've ever come out with and I don't even think they are making music anymore but I could be wrong about that seriously I could be wrong about them not doing anymore albums but overall I would Reccomend this CD to anybody who's a fan of incubus and you could even send the group a friendrequest on www.Myspace.com I'm not going to add them as a friend because I've got enough bands on my friend space as it is and I may be adding more bands but as of right now I'm not sure if I'll be adding anymore ... I own all Staind albums, and all I can say is what a fresh breath of air compared to their previous album, Chapter V. Not to rub any body the wrong way, but I only liked one-third of Chapter V and was quite disappointed expecting a superb CD like their previous albums.

They're starting to change their sound for the better as well. It's more calm but still hard at the same time. If you like their previous songs "It's Been A While," "Epiphany" "Outside," "Home," "Zoe Jane," etc. definitely pick this album up!

(PS: Aaron Lewis, release an acoustic CD please! )

All the Right Reasons

This is as generic and bland as rock music can get. This CD is immensely boring. This album basically embodies all the stereotypical radio rock elements you can image.

If you want the monotonous truck-commercial sounding riffs and awful wannabe-Pearl Jam sounding vocals, you have it all in this album.

There's honestly A LOT a band can do with 2 guitars, bass and drums. What drives a band to produce a CD of music which seriously sounds like it was made specifically for the radio? Probably money. Don't buy this album if you're a music fan. Leave this one for the casual radio listeners.

ive had this album for years, and i never get sick of it. im not usually into this kind of stuff... harder stuff. but this... this is just plain GOOD! if you like System and youve never heard this, do yourself a HUGE favor and pick this up. NOW! imo, its their best...
