I heard these guys for the first time on NPR's Prairie Home Companion. Their rendition of "Wagon Wheel," the last track on this disc, was the perfect tune to be listening to, while riding down the road towards home. The disc as a whole is nearly perfect. Balanced, bluegrass harmonies and skillful musicianship blend to create a disc that I have listened to hundreds of times, never growing tired.

Especially great is the rendition of "CC Rider" the best version of that classic since Ray Charles. Also fantastic are "Take 'em Away" and "Tell It To Me," but there isn't a bad track on the album.

First of all, let me just say I have not actually seen this DVD. However I myself and my family were present for this amazing concert. I plan on purchasing it ASAP!

Randy Travis is an amazing performer and very personable. This was one of my favorite concert going experiences and I have been to many many concerts.

This concert was actually filmed two years ago. It has just taken this long to get it released. If you are thinking it is a concert of music from his latest Christmas CD, there were not very many songs from that actually done at this concert.

I will definitely be purchasing it when it comes out!

I had no idea when I purchased Alison Krauss & Union Station in concert that I would have to fight to keep the CD. Everyone that has heard it loves it and wants to borrow it. I now have to keep it under lock & key. Can't wait to get more of this group. They are simply the best ever.

Along with "Teaser and the Firecat" this album represents the first half of the greatest one/two punch a singer songwriter has ever released. Recorded in around 1970 ...the spare instrumentation and wonderfully timeless songs still hold up today!

The remastering was excellent on the previous edition so that isn't the big deal here...its the bonus CD. While not as exciting as the Bonus disc for Teaser which featured many solo demo recordings by Cat Stevens...the bonus tracks on this....mostly "live" versions of the album tracks are still a welcome addition to the collection of any Cat Stevens fan...and I'm not ashamed to say I am and have always been. I'm really baffled by the great reviews of this record. Williams' voice is horrible. It's not that her voice is unpolished; Dylan, Steve Earle, and many others pull off less than perfect voices by the strength of their delivery. Williams tries too hard to sound soulful, ending up sounding desperate, grating. The melodies are flat and uninteresting, and the lyrics are uninspired. Skip this and pick up a Steve Earle, or Blue Rodeo CD for some great "American" music.

I have to admit first that I became a much bigger Cash fan after seeing Walk the Line. Guess I was too busy with rock when I was growing up. So... if you are new to Cash, you lack any Cash cds, and especially if you liked Walk the Line - I think you will really like this cd. Long time fans are probably likely to be disappointed because there have been other compilations over the years that they may own - but I think this has to be one of the best.

One of the best albums of 2008 if not the last 20 years. It kinda reminds me of the spirit of Billy Joe Shaver singing Robert Johnson songs backed by Roy Rogers. You gotta have this one in your collection.

I'm an old yankee, 61, actually Irish, from Massachusetts. I've just started to develop an appreciation for classic country music. I've added Willie Nelson and Johnny Cash Essential two CD sets to my collection. They are both excellent in content and sound quality. I brought both on Amazon and as usual with Amazon I'm 100% satisified with price and delivery. Will be buying more classic country on Amazon in the near futrue.
