I am now only beginning to get into Van Morrison though I've been aware of him for a while. Who hasn't heard Brown Eyed Girl or Gloria on the radio. This album is probably a good step for some one like me who is just getting started however this album has 21 tracks and his Greatest Hits is a 2 CD set yet neither have Tupelo Honey, and this one is missing In The Mysty. This album would have been complete with those two tracks and there's a couple on here I would have gladly traded for them. So I will now have to add Moondance at some point to get In The Mysty and buy the album Tupelo Honey to get that track. I thought I remembered that song in the Big Chill but it isn't on the soundtrack, so I could be mistaken. One other beef is this album ... Read More:

Clocking in at just under 30 minutes, PEACE QUEER is a powerful little record. It starts off with a Bo Diddley acoustic beat, dissecting the philosophy of Will Rogers. That acoustic rhythm flows on into a haunting rendition of CCR's "Fortunate Son" (the only non-original here), then the wry recitation "Is This Thing Working?" (re-worked later at "Is This Thing On?").
The first four tracks of PEACE QUEER dig under your skin, playing around in the dark, searching for your nerves. When the gritty electric guitar kicks in at the opening of "Stuck On the Corner," the nerve is struck. It's like a gentle massage turning into a full-on assault on your senses. Snider eases back into a more laid-back beat for the remainder of the record, ... Read More:

I actually acquired the second Sugarland album first, and loved it so much I went for the third and first. I am not a particular Country fan, but I love Jennifer Nettles' voice and the sound of the band. Even my husband, who definitely isn't a Country fan, has had to admit that "They have a really good sound." His favorite is "Stand back Up". I love them all. Listen to the samples, and if they appeal to you, then you'll enjoy the album.

This is my first Keith Urban CD. All I can say is Wow! He is good at ballads, western rock, you name it. He has a fantastic voice and wonderful musical arrangements

Whereas "Wild Mountain Nation" was erratic and thus all over the place musically, "Furr" is the band at it's most stable. Over 13 tracks the band flies through a perfect blend of 60s and 70s throwbacks while always putting their own unique touch on every track. The main influences seem to be 60s and 70s classic rock, notably CSNY and Neil Young with a touch of the Elephant 6 Collective: melodic, organic and always engaging it is easily one of the best albums of 2008. I've had it for two days and haven't taken it out of the rotation...actually, I just keep hitting repeat, which these days is quite the rare occurence for me.

This is an absolutely incredible collection that anyone who even remotely likes Bob Dylan should own. I purchased it brand new and it came in wrapping, but it consistently skips on one song at the same place. I noticed slight gouges in the CD.

The only way this DVD could be better is if it had more discs so make sure you buy the 2 DVD version.
If you are a fan of any of the performers here you cannot go wrong.

The Stir it Up DVD was a large disappointment, I've raised 3 children and now have grandchildren and this was not a dvd that I would recommend to anyone.
