This album has aged extremely well.It sounds as fresh as the first time I heard it 1989. Every track is excellent and and there is no filler. I usually don't listen to whole albums, but this was the exception.I strongly recommend it.It is by far the best Depeche Mode album.

Ok, I know I'm not a professional reviewer, but I do know good techno and dance music! This album is actually rather excellent in my opinion. First, Ultra stuck with the double disc which I give them kudos for. Second, few songs are either mediocre or terrible. Licky (Work it Out) is probably the worst song on the album. Other than that, all songs have some good in them, and even though 3 of the songs are on both Thrivemix 5 and Ultra 2009, both compilations are excellent and have their own positive points. But, I can't believe people are so irritated with the songs placed on this compilation, considering that you can't like every song in the world and sometimes more songs on an album are negative to you than positive. Not really a fan of Micheal.....dance moves were one of the best in the days......70's.......my kids liked it better.....hahaha.....I told them he got his moves off the funk man himself James Brown.....then all the rest these days kinda follow there moves.......

I purchased this to REPLACE my vinyl and old scratched up CD versions. Yes, I own the original vinyl AND the original CD release. I love the music. I wanted to finally add it to my MP3 collection of which I actually BUY all the music in. Oh, and I don't give copies away like the music companies say we all do......... anyhow, I bought this only to find that it's full of copy protection crap. So much in fact that this thing it totally useless to me. Instead of a happy moment I ended up with frustration. I wanted to put the thing on my iPod but no, I'm not "allowed" to do that. As i said, I now own 3 copies of this which I purchased. Nice to be punished. Anyhow, I'm sending it back and I'll rip from the other that I have or better yet, download it all ... Read More:

Product came in 3 days. Plays all but last song on CD. Contacted the seller a week ago about the problem but have received no answer from them. Not their fault as it was sealed and new but the Customer Service seems to suck.
