This CD for me didn't quite make the cut for chakra healing in comparison to other sound therapy and chakra balancing CDs that I own.
Halpern is a well-respected artist in the field with many years of experience and I don't discredit that he has a feel for what he is doing, however, I am disappointed with the musical composition of Chakra Suite.
The music on this CD is similar to beginner and intermediate finger warm-up exercises for keyboarding, basically consisting of climbing up the musical scale and back down again.
The music is relaxing to a degree for me, but also becomes annoying with the climbing up and down on the keyboard. As many times as I have tried to get through a meditation with this CD, ... Read More:

Normally, I'd say this just one of upteen "Best of" CDs chronicling the many James Bond title songs. However, what makes this collection stand out is the inclusion of 'You Know My Name', the theme to 'Casino Royale', marking the first time the song has appeared on a Bond soundtrack. So, if you want all the title songs to every James Bond picture from Dr. No to Casino Royale, go buy this little jem of a release. You won't be disappointed.

I loved the New Kids back in the day, but I would love this album regardless of who it is! I love almost every song, but especially Grown Man, Twisted and Full Service. This cd will make you want to get up and dance. I haven't stopped playing it since I bought it weeks ago!

this band is evidence that kids will eat up anything; totally untalented, and they have to steal from others? Make your own music, make your own artwork or else quit- obviously a creative field isn't right for these chumps.

There are more than a few sublime moments on this album and it was hard for me to beleive the style and lyrical stance on this album were coming from Madonna when I first heard it. Wow, this one gave me a new respect for her, not that I was ever an 80s Madonna fan. But really, this is a nice album and you just get the feeling that the artist is being true to her time in life, and has broadened - there's a more spiritual vibe (not preachy or over-done as the Amazon review seems to imply, but subtly and tastefully executed and with all the emotional depth that you'd expect of a superstar of her stature - or perhaps I should say with MORE emotional depth than I expected! Electronica suits her well. It almost adds a psychedelic dimension. I enjoy ... Read More:

A good cd, worth 4 stars. I like the main singer, she has a great, alluring voice.
I usually like to have atleast one "go to" track on a CD. Here, there are no truly stand out songs. They all really blend toghether as one whole experience. That's good and bad in some ways. I think for a rock CD that isn't the way to go, but electronica such as this it's forgiveable because I'm more likely to take it all in as a whole.
Even with that being said they do have some nice tracks. 'If I could FLy' is a nice track, along with breaking ties. They just don't have that extra something that they need to really stand out on there own.
That being said Im not dissappointed I made a purchase. If you like this type of music you'll surely ... Read More:

While I have previously expressed some dismay at Fripp's decision to include repetitions of tracks between at least two of his Soundscape albums, I can say that owning this "repetition" is, to my ears, worth the investment. I own the vinyl and previous CD release of these tracks, and can say the remastering alone makes a significant positive contribution to the listening experience. The sound is more vibrant and richer in detail -- "fresher" may capture it.
The half-speed HMC is fun to listen to, but I found the real revelations in the backward version of SG and HMC. They don't "sound backwards," perhaps due to a lack of percussive reference points that would give that aspect away. What I found most remarkable, though, is that Fripp must have played some ... After years of absorbing classical and jazz, I have recently begun to gain an education in other styles of music. I had not heard of Beck prior to having it recommended to me. I am so glad I picked up this album! The sounds, the revolutionary ideas, the crazy songwriting... all come together to make this an amazing album.
I am not an expert in this music, so I will leave the detailed, long-winded reviews to those that know what they are talking about. I like it!

So, if you haven't heard, NKOTB are back and have a new album, "The Block", coming out on September 2nd. I'm going to see them on Tour. Surprisingly, my love for them is back and apparently never died. I really regret that I didn't buy this CD 14 years ago. I was too embarrassed because they weren't "cool" anymore.
By FAR their best work. The whole album is good. Yes, it has a 90's vibe to it but that's when it came out. As I listened I kept thinking...these could easily be Boyz II Men songs. The Boyz were huge in the mid nineties so that says a lot. Vocally, it's their strongest and style wise, their most mature. I think the biggest mistake they made was releasing "Dirty Dawg" as the first single. It's my least favorite. I think they tried to hard to prove they had grown ... Read More:
