It moves in moods, effortlessly shifting from a driving bass to a melancholy sitar, violins rising and falling in time with beats that are a masterful fusion of east and west. If you've heard Bombay Dub's first album, you probably found it "sleepy" at first, but slowly got drawn in. 3 Cities has its soft side, but for the most part its more energized, more integrated, and more accessable. This isn't to say it's better than their previous album, just different. Both are among the best albums of the downtempo/chillout/mood-driven genres, and both albums don't have a single weak track in their collection. I'm addicted.

This is a very good CD of electronica.Great mix of vocal and instrumental

This record is nothing more than the musical equivalent of a Von Dutch hat. Trendy for a couple months and then quickly tossed aside, as the bastardized dancehall routine inevitably becomes boring. I give her another album - Kala has already proved to be a disappointment - after which she'll have little left to do but don a suicide belt, perhaps?

What is a bit different with this "pioneering artist" is that, to sell records, she is prostituting her repugnant association with a terrorist outfit who, among other things, (1) invented the suicide bombing belt, (2) pioneered the used of women in suicide attacks, and (3) has been the only terrorist organization to assasinate two world leaders. even though it's been 40 years since it was released, Switched on Bach by Wendy (formerly Walter) Carlos is one of the best musical performances ever recorded. Anyone even remotely into classical music would enjoy this CD. I had this as a kid (on a record - ask your parents what those were) and it disappeared in all the moves. I was SO glad to find it again.

guys, Im into high end, and this release hits top 10 as far as sound concerned, the material itself I don't need to convince you I reckon if you're here - this is a must to all rock lovers - a stand alone in its realm of musical rock, if you aren't familiar to this piece you'll love it if you like: progressive rock - ELP, jet r, yes, deep purple, - good luck, furthermore the 6 channel option is great too, comparing to many other 6 channel release that really is no worth of getting this cd stands alone in kicking everything 6 channel offers

Global Underground: Lima

I was not focused on picking up this thing until Christmas until Global Underground offered me a deal. I didn't expect to listen to it in the first place, however, very impressed! Less ambience than Paris and a lot more down to Earth progressive house happening. Nick has not been this progressive since his releases of Brazil and Amsterdam. The first CD has a little bit of that windy sound in it with its rythme and stays consistent and has a solid tempo having instrumentation that grabs you into the disc that keeps the progressive house adventure going with your mind at ease. What keeps the mind at ease is the sound of the music aside from just the beat. The progressive sound.
