I've always been an agnostic when it comes to remastered versions of classic albums. However, this brilliant album was remastered by Robert Fripp himself, along with Simon Heyworth. As a result, the integrity of the music is maintained while the quality of the recording stands head and shoulders above the remastering attempts of others.
"Wind on Water," which originally sounded more or less like solid chords, is revealed as an intricate network of looped sounds. "Evensong" likewise is exposed as having much greater depth than I ever suspected. As for "Evening Star," a piece of music so beautiful it seems as though it simply dropped out of heaven, it's even richer.
However, it is "An Index of Metals" that stands as ... Read More:

I first heard snippets on the BBC and I was already hooked. Between YouTube and Amazon I listened to pieces of this album and finally made the purchase. I was not disappointed. Buika, self titled after María Concepción Balboa Buika, aka Concha Buika, has a fabulous voice that is alternately clear or smoky, sexy, soulful, de tona clásica, ethnic yet traditional and mature and it demonstrates strengths in flamenco, copla, jazz, and rhythm and blues. Her phrasing and timing are excellent.
The album does suffer a couple weak selections - not that keen on "Little freaky girl" as it smacks of pop influence. She's better than the song. My favorites: "New afro Spanish generation" "Jodida pero contenta" ""Tu caramelo" and "Nostalgias".

Alphabeat are a Danish group whose style of retro fun Pop sing-along music reminds me of Scissor Sisters, or The B-52s, especially on the Pop/Disco opening cut "Fantastic 6" with nonsensical lyrics even referencing that dreadful 80s movie "Seven from heaven".
At just 10 tracks (totalling under 37 minutes), the CD cuts right to the chase, they can't afford to slip up on any track and they don't. The bouncy Motown-ish "Fascination" (it does remind me of Bowie's "Modern love") was a UK top 10 hit.
All the songs sound so sunny and are incredibly catchy; "10,000 nights", the brilliant disco-tinged "Boyfriend" (the best song Madonna never made in the 80s), the similar groovy "Go go", the piano tinged Scissor Sister-channelling "What is happening", ... Read More:

This product is all it claims to be. You can feel it resonate in your physical body and aura. If you concentrate hard enough you can feel it actually aligning your chakras. The tones and timing are perfect. It's great for meditation and healing of body, mind, and soul. It makes a great CD for inducing great sleep and dreams and normalizing the energy levels of the body. Dr. Goldman is showing his true masterful skills of the full spectrum of sound with this album.

His music is beautiful, it's mellifluous and it leaves you breathless, I highly recommend it and play it regularly for my baby girl at night before she sleeps.
It's nice to hear classical music from a newly discovered (in the USA) artist. I can not pick a favorite track as they are all beautiful. The thread that connects all of them is a serenity that wraps itself around you as you listen to each piece.

One morning last month, I woke up and couldn't get "Kiss From a Rose" out of my head. Two days later, I went out and bought it. I'm so mad I didn't get it when it first came out. I knew about Seal, and I heard his music, but I didn't own any of his music. Needless to say, I am currently purchasing his entire discography. My favorites: "Bring It On" get's me started in the morning. "Dreaming in Metaphors" really makes you think. Every cut is great outstanding!

Been listening to this for the last three weeks since I got it. If u like acid jazz with a driving bass/precussion backbeat and some incredible keyboard and flute work this is for you.
About 5 very solid tracks, coupla ok ones and one is kinda background music.
Flip on this CD in your car in the nightime, seems to sound better at night, and cruise down road with a head noddin' stone cold groove

Put the sizzle back into your summer with this red hot Euro-dance album from Swedish singer Petra Marklund, better known as September. This album combines hits from her previous albums and this particular version was only released in the USA.
The BIG song of the album is "Cry For You" from her 2005 album "In Orbit", and if you've spent any time recently listening to dance music you'll have heard this one several times. Other songs from "In Orbit" are "Satellites", "Looking for Love", "Midnight Heartache" and "Flowers on the Grave".
From the album "Dancing Shoes" (2007) there are the singles "Can't Get Over", "Until I Die" and "Because I Love You", plus other tracks "My Neighborhood", "Sad Song", "Candy Love", "Taboo", "Freaking Out" and "RIP"
