This compilation of past top 10 hits truly brings back awesome memories of the 1986-1994 NKOTB era! These songs make me remember being 16 all over again. It's definately a MUST HAVE for any previous NEW KIDS fan & for any new fans, hey, I'd say it's a MUST HAVE TOO! If I'm not listening to "The Block" (their new reunion CD) then I'm listening to this one! I give New Kids On The Block ***** stars for this CD! You guys are #1!!!!

I am a huge fan of Jem's first album, Finally Woken, and purchased this one on the authority of the reviewers who said it was as good or better. Having listened to it a few times, I'm afraid I have to disagree. By far the best track on the CD is the title track, "Down to Earth". But even that one isn't as good as "24" from Finally Woken. "Aciiid!" is an almost-successful foray into the hip-hop genre, but ultimately lacks the edginess that makes for decent hip-hop. Most of the songs here unfortunately are lacking in musical variation, and the lyrics are simplistic at best. Don't get me wrong: I still liked the album. But it wasn't what I was hoping for.

The MUSIC on these New Order reissues get a 5/5, easily. However, there were far too many egregious mistakes made in the creation of the discs themselves to give them a pass. Only the first discs were re-mastered though they still have some problems, it is the bonus discs that are an absolute mess.

Warner Music/Rhino know about these problems, but there is yet no word on any forthcoming fixes. So I'd hold off until these issues are addressed.

Noted below are the specific problems with the PC&L reissue:

love the bee gees. barry gibb is the greatest, mild manner man i've ever met. he bowed to me when i said thank you. i miss maurice & andy. this 2CD set is great but i wish they would add more disco songs (the extended mixes) , more than a woman, boogie child, can keep a good man down, etc. as a matter of fact i'm sure their will be a bee gees disco CD just with remixes in the future. it's a very attractive package. everyone enjoy. those were the greatest years. The Definitive Collection

This really is the ABBA definitive collection, al the songs I remember from them are here, the quality of the sound is wonderful. I know that after releasing Mamma Mia some other collections are selling, but this one contains more than 30 songs, and it's great.

I've wanted to get the CD not the DVD. Buyer's mistake. I decided to keep it because I like Michael Jackson. I'm sure this DVD will do it justice, so I decided to keep it.

This is easily Joe's strongest album in recent years. It's a true R&B record, and you can tell that now that hes not on Jive anymore, he finally got the creative freedom he wanted. Because with Ain't Nothin Like Me, i felt like he tried to hard to fit in with the rest of the radio R&B, and the album was really just kind of dull. But New Man, is easily his strongest effort since My Name is Joe in 2000. He really went out on this album and did his thing. New Man isnt the best album of the year by any means, but its a very strong showing. And I was so happy when i got this album because we havent had a good Joe album since 2003, so when this one came out i was really hopin he would turn out something good. And he did. Michael Jackson 25th Anniversary of Thriller

This album should really get two ratings, one for the actual MJ album, and the other for the remixes.

Nothing needs to be said about Thriller. It's Thriller, and it's fantastic. Enough said.

The remixes however... are some of the worst garbage released on a major record label... ever. Fergie attempting to sing Beat It is absolutely painful. The Kanye version of Billie Jean is nothing but the original song slowed down with a sloppy beat overdubbed. I'm not even going to speak of the Akon track. Seriously, these "bonus" tracks are criminally bad. I can only assume that their presense on the album is a mistake, and they should be listened to only for comedic value.

I became officially a Mariah detractor in the last years( with the exception of the great We belong Together ...a masterpiece ). I bought E=MC2 in April because I was buying other Cds and felt bad about not buying it along with the others. I didn't like Touch my Body. For me it is a stupid song and a stupid video. Therefore, the CD was left untouched among several others. However, the first time that I listened I Stay in Love, For the record and I wish you well, I felt that the CD was " Not that bad after all" . Since them, I have discovered Bye Bye and Side Effects. These are the 5 songs that gave me back the faith in Mariah.
