This is an excellent work by Dan Fogelberg, one of his best, and appears to be no longer in print.

Let me preface this with my bias -- I absolutely adore Judy Collins and think that her original songs rank among the greatest material ever produced by a singer/songwriter. I was very excited to hear about this project and greatly looked forward to hearing these wonderful songs interpreted by such a wide array of artists.
The reality is, however, that this is a tribute album. Like all tribute albums, it is uneven. Some performances are better than others, and some artists appeal to me while others don't. Unlike most tribute albums, this one is pretty good overall -- chalk that up to the quality of the songs.
Particularly good, in my opinion, are the performances by Shawn Colvin, Dar Williams, Rufus Wainwright and Bernadette ... Read More:

I came across Amos Lee quite by accident; a friend sent me the CD saying he'd ordered it on someone's recommendation and then didn't care for it. Are you kidding me? I liked it the first time through, loved it thereafter. Nice, mellow sounds, some jazzy, some bluesy, all great.

Never heard of this musician before I listened to WFUV (Fordham Univ) but he puts out some great music worth looking into. If you like a wide variety of music his rock style will do you well

I'm a huge fan of Martin Sexton -- he has produced some really amazing and listenable music. This new album is my favorite. Sexton has a way of making just about any song he does sound like it was written for him -- even songs made famous by other artists. He does some really unusual and intriguing things with his voice and he's one artist who is truly unique.

What can I say except that the man is a genius. After listening to and enjoying the covers on the soundtrack of I'm Not There I was inspired to listen again to the original and was taken on a journey back to my youth.

Bringing It All Back Home being Dylan's 1965 release and his 5th studio album is without a doubt a grand album. The album is divided into one accoustic and one electric side. Here we have classic tracks such as Mr. Tambourine Man, It's alright ma (I'm only bleeding). The book-let is very nice with a photograph on the cover of Dylan together with some woman. I do not know who it is to be honest. Inside we get poetry penned by Dylan that I find to be very interesting. We also get a plethora of pictures of Dylan recording the album. The back cover photo is a photo of Dylan playing guitar in the studio. 5/5.

This CD is certainly a collection of very talented musicians. The songs reflect great musical skill. Guests on the CD help to bring out the best of the featured musicians. I would recommend this CD highly.
